I like the way the numbers work out for this. Remember it is "up to" 21 pounds so every loser is a winner in this challenge. Lose 1 pound and you did it, lose 21 pounds and you can brag that you did it! ;)
I also have a "mini" challenge to add on Sept 1 for those of us that just need to meet a stated goal in order to feel satisfied. It will be much easier to reach for than a 2 pound a week loss and it has such a cute title I just have to use it.

Excellent. Congratulations! I like 5 lb increment mini milestones :)
I started cc in april, was already down 10 lbs from my start weight when I started cc... currently down 50-55 depending on the daily fluctuations. Hopefully you can keep the momentum going as long as possible. Seemed to start slowign down for me a lot as I entered the healthy bmi range... course, I started slacking more too....

RE: It's not so much the healthy bmi/slacking, it's just the adjustments being made to "real life eating decisions." As much as we would like to (eat the things we used to), it's not in our best interest because we would be right back to our start weights & not happy to see those numbers again. If at any time you find your weight creeping up & would like a "kick in the butt" feel free to message me, after all what are buddies for?

I must have appeased the scale god. I didn't gain any weight but managed to lose 3 pounds over Thanksgiving. Pre-planning what I could eat and adding in an extra 20 minutes of cardio/weights 3 times this past week paid off. Bodan, I missed you last week.

I am not able to post on time at the moment. I don't know if things will slow down or not, but i want to hang in here until the end of this challenge. I can't hit my goal at this point, but weight loss is a good thing on any level so my new goal is to show a loss by the end of this. :)
