18 weeks pg and still have flabby tummy
Hi everyone, I'm new to this site and forum so i don't really know what to expect and whether there will be any response to my question... but here goes. I'm 18 weeks along with my 3rd child and my tummy just looks flabby. I was about 72kgs when i fell pg (169cm tall). I was on a weightloss diet and exercising all the time and had lost 6kgs when i found out i was pg. So far i haven't weighed myself because i'm too scared to in case i have put on heaps of weight. I've always carried most of my flab in my tummy (apple shape) but now i feel i just look fat as my belly is still soft. Will it ever harden up? I was about 6 or 7 kilos heavier at the start of this pregnancy than i was with either of the others. Any advice would be great. Thanks!
I tend to store fat around my midsection more than other places. I just had my second child 12 months ago. Before I was pregnant, I was 5'3" and 128 pounds (160 cms, 58 kgs) and had a bit of flab on my tummy. It wasn't nearly as rock-hard as it was during my first pregnancy when I was 107 pounds (48 kgs) at the start. It did start to firm up about halfway through the pregnancy, though.
Just gain appropriately on the right kinds of foods and you'll be golden :)
