7 weeks postpartum and trying to lose weight.
Hi I am 7 weeks postpartum and I can start working out. I want to lose 20 lbs or so. I want to lose the weight by the end of March. Has anyone had any luck after they had a baby?
Hi. I've been using this website for two weeks and have already lost 4 lbs. It works. I think the trick is to keep your calories at close to 1400 per day and eat either an apple or celery when you are feeling hungry. Good luck!
Hi, I had my son in May and am just starting to diet, my goal is tolose 30 pounds by February 26th. Maybe we can motivate each other! I'm just learning how to use this website, seems pretty good so far
That sounds great. My son was born in Sept. I want to loose at lease 15 lbs, I dont really have a time frame but the sooner the better. I think this website is pretty cool. I just got a cold so i havent been able to start working out. Hopefully next week I can start. Have you started working out yet? Are you working out in a gym or at home. I am joining a gym, my husband already goes so I have someone to work out with. Let me know how your doing.
my lil one is 8 weeks old. i'm counting calories but worried because i'm also breastfeeding. with another little one under the age of two i can't get out to go to the gym, i don't have much energy to do so... does anyone know if it's even good to "diet" while breastfeeding.
While you're breastfeeding you just need to make sure to have a well balanced diet. Also, you'll need to add about 500 calories to what you would usually eat to accommodate for the breastfeeding. I think there is a way to change your meter to show the change, but I'm not sure. Make sure you're not losing more than a pound or two a week because then your body could release toxins that were stored in your fat and it could get into your breast milk. In addition, be careful with your foods because they may affect the baby (ie broccoli can cause bad gas). A good rule is if it does something to you it'll probably do something to the baby.
I'm not a doctor or anything like that this is just what I was told while I was nursing. Good Luck and enjoy the little ones.
Where can I see 1/8th or 1/6th of a pie or angel food cake?
This is the best way to picture a portion of pie or cake: Draw a circle to represent the circumference of the cake or pie (9" pie? 10" cake?... Read more
