Kathy- you're not doing terrible! Over the past 5 weeks, you've lost nearly 5 pounds overall, which is a healthy weight loss of 1 pound a week. Don't be sad!- stick with it. Make this week your big week! There's 4 weeks left to go.

I finally had a good week this week after 2-3 weeks of NOTHING, so I know it is possible!

Start weight: 186 pounds

Weight last week: 181 pounds

Current Weight: 178 pounds

Lost this week: -3 pounds

Lost so far: -8 pounds

What I did well this week: I didn't let the weekend get me down! I managed to stick with my plan throughout and get some exercise.

What I need to improve on: I need to plan my meals better. I still tend to scarf things down from my fridge upon arriving home from work because I have no real plan for dinner. Bad.

I will work on that this week.

I was down to 181.8 two days ago, but I've had so much sodium and a cheat meal since then.    I don't think I'll make my goal for the 9 weeks, but I should lose at least 12 pounds.

What I did well this week: I started to increase intensity in my cardio workouts.

What I need to improve on: Sodium.
Can I get in on this too?  It'll be a great motivator for me!

Was down to 139.8 but have had more sodium than I should so it's up a bit.

What I did well this week: worked out at least 3 times, overall kept my sodium low

What I need to improve on: drinking more water

I actually was down to 141 by the end of last week, so I'm hoping the recent weight gain is just water weight.  Otherwise I'm doing a lot worse than I thought!

I still have problems eating healthy on the weekends.  I definitely need to stay away from alcohol!

I'm doing really well with exercise, especially w/ the nicer weather and now that I've got my mtn bike fixed.  So I'm getting out a lot more, plus my regular workout schedule w/ weights & cardio at the gym.  Hopefully it'll get better by next week!

This week I will improve on...

  • I need to work out more. I really slacked last week and only worked out twice.
  • I need to eat more fruits and vegies! I did very bad at this last week.
  • And I need to NOT DRINK ANYMORE! I quit drinking for about two months hoping it would help me lose weight and I think it did! Now I started drinking at special occasions, But recently I am calling everything a special occasion. So I want to stop drinking for a bit!
  • I need to eat at least my calorie limit for each day. I think I have fallen under a few times.
  • And I want to make sure I am happy at all times. Keep a positive attitude and don't let things get me down!

What I did well this week: Drinking water.  I've been drinking a liter a day, and adding an extra 1/4c. each day until I reach the amount of ounces I'm supposed to be drinking.  Working well so far......Water isn't so bad!!
What I need to improve on: Apparently, I was accidently starving myself!  I was making sure that my deficit was between 500 and 1000 a day, usually closer to the 500 to 750 range.  I thought I was good, but I didn't know I was supposed to be checking to make sure my net calorie intake was above 1200....and most days after checking, they were around 1000 to 1100.....Ooopppps!!!  So now that I fixed this problem, I hope that I'll start losing weight at a more consistant pace.

Did well: ate balanced meals, an A every day! Lots of water and a daily vitamin

Need to improve: Not to get carried away on the weekends. Watch salt and eating out. I hardly exercised at all this past week so I need to get back to it. I had lost inches and want to keep that up!

I had a rough week too - had a cold and ate everything sweet I could get my hands on - funny how sweets were the only thing I could actually taste.   Anways back to the gym tomorrow!!! 

Only 4 weeks to go?? Can it be?   Isnt that the start of Hurricane season and not summer?  lol   I need a few more weeks.....

I had a cheat day this weekend for my lil girls bday. I also increased my cals to 1700 on the days I workout and 1500 on the days I dont...I decided to start taking the weekeds off...I have been working out for 3 months straight with only about 5 days off sooooooo I need a lil me time!!

1) Walked every single day + some running up and down stairs.
2)  Plenty of water
3) Tried to increase/ fluctuate my calories a little bit as planned in my goal from prior week

My plan for next week

Keep up with the plan from prior week since it seemed to be working and try to increase my calories by 100 twice a week.

Hopefully this is the break of the everlasting plateau I?ve been on since I joined CC. I can?t believe it took me 2 months to lose 2 lbs while other people lose the same amount of weight in as little as one single week!! ?I am thankful for the 2 lbs down though ?better than nothing!

I started at 161 pounds, but only lost 1 pound this week.

I weigh in at 152 now. So total weight loss of this challenge of 9 pounds.

My goal for this challenge is 142, I don't know if I can make it?

But I can't exercise, my ankle is still sore from when I sprained it and that messed up things alot.

Hopefully, my ankle will heal soon and I can get back to my exercising and more weight will come off - as my eating has been good.

Lost this week:  -4lbs (my scales here at Uni are a bit different to my ones at home though. I think I lost about a pound!!)

Lost so far:  -7lbs (or four-ish depending on which scale you trust! I'm at Uni now, so will be going by this one until summer)
Oh and also! I meant to say, Kathy, you're doing fine!! We all get in a slump everynow and then with exercise... you can get back on track! Don't beat yourself up about it. This thread is a great motivator, and so are you!! If we don't reach our original summer goals, so what?! At least this has motivated us to lose. You've lost 5lbs! That's excellent, it really is.

I had a baaaaaad weekend Fri-Sun.  I was actually down to 191 Friday morning and then . . . so I had actually been keeping my pledge up until then.

This week I will keep my pledge.  I want to make my new goal: 179 on June 22.
I always forget the weigh ins!! I'm currently on a business trip, so I've been trying to get to the gym, yet haven't so far, and also can't check my weight. I'm assuming it's up closer to 149lbs from last weeks result of 147lbs, but we'll see. This week, I'd love to work out more, and eat healthier, with less fat, and more fiber/veggies.

I know how you are feeling. I gained 15 pounds from September until  two weeks ago! I had a bad winter and just let myself come undone. I reached the point where I didn't care anymore and stopped trying. Your challenge is what motivated me to get back into the game and take care of myself! Forget about the past 5 days! We all need to let our bodies take a break. You can do this and already have made great accomplishements. You have motivated so many of us and we will do this together! You are not terrible and don't let yourself feel sad! Be proud of the wonderful things you have done and will continue to do! I promise it will get better! Just keep going!

What I did well this week: I ate a lot of fresh fruits and vegetables and drank plenty of water. I also got back to my exercise routine that I know works for me9weight training 4 days a week plus and hour of cardio a day)! And even better, I read a book which helped kept my cravings manageable. FYI the book is "The Starter Wife" by Gigi Levange. It was fantastic!

What I need to improve on: I need to stop feeling guitly about taking two hours out of the day for myself to exercise. I also need to celebrate the body I was born with and make it the best it can be! ( I can't change my bone structure without surgery and that is just crazy! ;) Oh yeah and when I have a cheat day, I need to keep it under contrl and not eat the whole bag of pretzels or cookies or whatever!

have heart.. this was a bad week for most call it the wednesday slup  (since we are half way through the challenge...lol ) Bad week for me 4 doctor appointmonts. for the kids...  1 that was 2 1/2 hours away... but everyone is fine :)  just to much road food.
