Complaints:   I was sick as a dog yesterday - actually lost 3 lbs from yesterday to today

Current weight after week 6: 161.4 *5 pound loss*

(This is on the docs scale today, it is more accurate! But since it is on a diff. scale the actual pounds lost for this week might not be 5 but the total pounds lost is still correct cause I weighed in at the docs office at the beggining of this challenge.)

After week 5:  166.4 pounds *0.2 pound loss*

Complaints: My stomach and legs are sore! I started pilates this weekend and now i'm sore.

Praises: I'm happy about how far I have come. I have lost over 20% of my body weight! But half the reason I had such a big drop this week is cause it was TTOM and every time it ends I drop a few If I work hard through it. For the first time ever I am excited to get it each month in hopes I will drop a pound afterwards.

What are you guys eating for breakfast and lunch?  I sit behind a computer all day and I'm always wanting to munch! Not to mention the fact I can't seem to get motivated to get back to the gym

I'm currently 158 lbs and 5'3"  YIKES!!

Any advice is much appreciated.

Complaints: I have none this week! I missed two workouts but forced myself to get up at 6 am and squeeze another one in.

Praises: This was a great week for me for healthy living. I got great exercise and ate well enough, apparently- despite two dinners out with friends and one night out on the town.

3 weigh ins left! Could that really be?!?! I can't remember what my original goal was but time to hunker down and shed a few more pounds.

Complaints: I'm also not happy with myself.  I'm hoping that I went from 141 (Thursday) to 145 (today) because of all of the sodium/Mexican food I ate this weekend.  We'll see!

Praises: Still consistently working out.  If I don't make it to the gym I've been hopping on my bike and riding trails or doing a 3-4 mile ride up and down hills...so keeping up a healthy, consistent workout.

Complaints: Things kind of stand still from Thursday to Monday for me.  I need to get my butt moving and eat better on the weekends!

Praises: Although it seemsto take forever, I'm still losing--slowly but surely.

Complaints: Had two special occaisions this week in which I went over.  Plus, I wasn't able to keep the full 1000 defecit a couple of days.
Also, I was at 181.8 sometime last week.  I dunno why I shot up, but at least I've been going back down since then.  I guess this was a weight I was at for a while, so it's a hump to get over.

Praises: I am happy that I finally broke the plateau and I am not in the 180s anymore!! I walked 6 days last week plus one day elliptical. ?I am thankful for the lbs lost.

Complaints: I think I may have plateaued and I feel pretty down about that.  I wanted to be 189 by now.


Praises: I have been persevering despite it.  I have yet to give in and eat an iced cinnamon biscuit from work.

Complaints: Although I am noticably losing weight, my body isn't looking like I thought it would at this weight.

Praises: I put on a shirt that fit me last summer, and it's huge on me now!  I've lost 4 inches around my waist and 2 inches around my thighs since starting this challenge.  I've lost 12 pounds! AND I am eating heathier than I ever have before! 

And a note to everyone complaining because they had a bad week, get Pollyanna about it!!!  EVERYONE that I noticed who posted has LOST WEIGHT since starting the challenge!!!!  That is something to be glad for!!!  Don't worry if you have a bad week or two!!!

Complaints: NONE....I have finally gotten over my plateau in full.

Praises: I am very proud of myself in keeping up with my exercise and staying within my calorie range....Except for SATURDAY, we ate pizza that night so I went way over my cals but I am allowing myself to do this once every 2 or 3weeks to keep boosting my metabolism.

KITKAT...I hope all is well with you. Dont let yourself get too down over the weight loss, Everything will be ok. I learned this when I was on a plateau for 3 weeks and just wanted to cry cuss and scream.

Complaints - too busy/out of town - didnt get in my daily workout for 3 days in a row - that sucks.

Praises - This was my first challenge and even though I will not reach my 9 week goal, I am happy to continue losing weight overall, however excrutiatingly slow it is.

Complaints: Doing okay.  All is well.

Praises: I keep doing my positive affirmations - one of which is "I love to excercise, I love to excercise."  It's finally starting to come true.

What did I do different to try to get rid of the 4 week plateau?  Increased my calories by ~250 for one day (healthy calories, not junk) and then brought it down to 200 below my norm.  Now eating 1550/day.  Also increased excercise by ~5-10 minutes.

Thank you KitKat for getting this started.  - This is going to be a great week for all of us!  I forsee fantastic things in the future.

I kinda went on a binge saturday night. it was cinco de mayo and i celebrated too much! so, if i wouldn't have done that i probably would've lost more!

Praises:

I went out and binged saturday night for cinco de mayo and still managed to get back on track the next day for a two lb loss!
Is it too late to join this challenge, because this sounds awesome?  Please, please let me join.

Anyway, it's too late to weigh in today so I'll do that tomorrow. I can't wait.

Sorry I forgot to update!

Starting weight at challenge: 161

Weight on Monday May 7th: 150!

Total weight loss so far 11 pounds.

I'm happy now that I am getting back into exercise that my ankle is feeling much better now and the weather is much nicer also!

So I might just make it to my goal for this challenge of 142?
