I don't know if anyone else is doing weekly weigh-ins, but I figured I would start a thread if anyone else is! The gist: Each week on your regular weigh-in day post your stats with your most recent weight or loss or both! This is how I'll be proceeding with mine (my weigh-in was yesterday, but I just thought to do this now)....

Starting Date: 8/6/08
Starting Weight: 171

08/20/08: 168.5
Current loss: 2.5


Goal Weight: 140
End Date: 3/6/08

Hello all.  Before the Holidays I was down to 135.5 just 10-15 pounds away from my goal of 125-120.  I am 5'4" and female.  I would like to try to lose as much as I can by the end of March as I leave for Mexico on April 11th, and would like to start my maintainance before I leave.

SW: 165

CW: 142

GW: 125-120 (waiting to see how I feel when I get to 125)

Congrats hayleeb, you have done a super job and I wish you all the luck in achieving your goal.  I'm trying to lose 8 more lbs. by March 6 th so I'm pulling out all the stops and aiming to reach goal as I'm off to hawaii March 6th.

Good Morning, Weigh in Day!

So I'm guessing that some of the weight I put on was water weight because I'm back down even lower...I'm happy about it, especially since I forgot to weigh myself last week and have been in deep anticipation.

Hi Hayleeb,

Congrats on your weight loss.  Our of curiosity how many calories do you eat daily?? You have had a big loss since jan. 9th so was just wondering what you eat.  Looks like you'll reach goal in no time at all.

I'm eating too many calories at the moment so my weight loss is very slow but i'm cutting back as of today.

Hi.  I am 5'4" and eat 1500 calories a day, with half hour walking at 3.5 4 times a week.  I eat pretty good, but with some snacks of course...don't know how anyone could eat without their treats.  Carbs (45 to 65%), Fat (20 to 35%) and Protein (10 to 35%) daily....that's my average.  Calorie count said that I shouldn't eat over 1250 calories to lose weight, but I'm sorry that's just not possible for someone who loves food as much as me. 

I think the drop in weight was because I just started counting again (after taking about a month off during the holidays) and just getting back into the swing of things.  I believe most of it was water weight as I didn't start eating properly until that day...so!  It happened like this when I first started on CC in July as well...I don't know.

I, too am 5'4" and eat around 1600-1650 and agree with you about not eating as low as 1250....because EACH day I power walk 3x (averaging 20 mins each) then play squash 2x wk as well as do weights 1-2x wk.  Not only that my job is quite physical so I'm moving around a lot.

I eat very healthy and am trying to lose 8 lbs. by march 6.  I have to be very, very good now HA!

My Starting Weight Sept 1/-08 was 172.8

Current weight is 157.2

so I want to be 149 (need to get into the 140's for sure) on March 6th.

If I can average 1 lb - 1 1/2 per week then I shall make it but it means being very strict for sure and not slacking off.

Hi Maureenz,

 

I would eat more if I excercised more, but I just can't get in any longer than .5 hour, I say i'm going to do it everyday, but that never...ever happens.  I have a very sedentary job so I usually just sit at a computer all day. 

It's my birthday this weekend, so will be slacking off quite a bit.  Out to dinner tonight, and over to my parents tomorrow.   Hope you reach your goal before your trip...have a great weekend yourself.

Midpoint Goal Weight (5 Mar 2009) 135 lb

My trip to Vegas last weekend threw me off a bit (not that I was surprised!) and though I made healthier eating and drinking choices than I would have in the past, it took me until Thursday to get back in the swing of going to the gym.  I'm happy with my progress though, and can tell a difference in how I look and how my clothes are fitting.

Have a great birthday Hayleeb and have  a slice of cake for me too!

Don't worry mareen I had enough cake for the whole group.   I'm back on track though and feeling good about not being so strick with myself this past birthday.  It was my last birthday when I realized how overweight I was...seeing horrible picture after the fact.  Good luck to you too.
