Starting off at 166. That's what the scale said this morning and eventhough I think the scale is a lying bastard, that is the number I am going with for first weigh in.

And my measurements were actually surprising this morning. 38' bust, 32' waist, 41.5 hips. surprising in that, I actually thought they would be higher. Huh. who knew? I mean, still needs work, obviously, but not as much as I thought. I measured arms and thighs too, but I don't remember what it was.

So how's everyone else doing today?

Well I weighed myself this morning, right after my morning pee at about 6:30 am..... buck naked....and Im clocking in at 170 pounds (still...for like a month now...*sigh*)

and I took my measurements

Hips:42-1/2"

Waist:38"

Chest:41-1/2"

(The chest Im not sure about... because normally I measure with a bra on (and since we all know what gravity can do......) this time I was braless....and took my measurement...I think when they are up and supported in a bra my measurement is more....Or does matter???)

I also didnt measure my arms or legs.... lol My arm I must are getting pretty nice...and toned....I dont really care of the measurements there.....

I have a wedding to go to tomorrow...I was kind of hoping I would have lost some weight by then....but oh well.....

 Also.... I wonder if it makes a huge difference if you measure yourself or have someone do it for you? I dont know..I always seem to have a hard time with it....Especially measuring your chest.

My weight this am is 155.4.  Not sure how much of that I believe.  Just getting over Mono, so I am sure that will go up before it goes down.  Who knew a 29 y/o could get mono! 

Gotta find a tape measure!

Mono or no mono. That would be a nice weight for myself. One day I will get there.......and remember guys, we always weigh the lightest in the mornings, however thats the most accurate, so believe it!!  Good start guys!

I find the inches are sometimes FAR more motivational than lbs...... 

AW!!  Me too, me too!!!  I've been playing with the same 5 pounds for 3 months now and am in need of some motivation, ideas, and comradity (sp?).

I'm Val, 38yo, 5'6 1/2", as of this morning 175.6.  (Pft, I was less yesterday but my normal weigh in for my own accountability is Fridays so it doesn't count).  This currently is my lowest weight but my goal for now is to make it to 150, ideally 140.

I did my measurements last week:

  • hips:  44 (Embarassedbaby's got back!)
  • waist:  37
  • chest:  38.75

I exercise 4-5 times a week.  I usually get in about an hour each day I do.  I currently have 2 exercise goals for July: complete 1750 minutes and walk/jog/bike ride 50 miles.

Also, I currently journal all this daily, except Sundays unless I have time. 

I just started doing measurements bc I've started some more intense strength training and it sends my scale into a frenzy. Seriously, the scale is my arch nemesis right now. If ya wanna do measurements, go for it. It ya just wanna weigh, whatever. We're just here for eachother no matter what.

OK so I know it's late in the day but I need all the help I can get...I've been working (not too dilligently) at this since last November and las I checked it was only a 7 lb loss :( . But maybe you guys can bouy me up. Today I weiged in at 172...but that's about 5lbs higher than the doctor's scale...but I'll have to take that number because it's the scale I use at home...also, it makes for a happier weigh in at the doc's office:). I don't have measurements today, but I'll try to get them in next time. Looking forward to getting to know you all and to reaching our goals together.

Do you care if I join too!  This is my first week on CC+ and am super excited at the moment, and hoping I stay that way for a while.  I am 5'5" and started the week at 177. Measurements are

Hips 43"

Waist 35.5"

Chest 39.5"

Ouch that's tough to look at! Ahhh!

I am already starting to feel this group working (I was much more concious about what I ate and made more of an effort to go to the gym because I knew that I'd have to post.)

Weighing in a little late.  I have to work tonight (or hopefully, I'm on call for 12hr shift and hardly ever get called off on the weekends...) plus I was feel weak and sick.  Probably because of all that sugar and fat I ate yesterday.  So I weighed when I got up. 

169.5 lbs   up 0.8 lb.  I was expecting 3-4 lbs ++  so I'll take just 0.8.  And I used my new WiiFit to weigh so I dunno if that or my bathroom scale is more accurate.  My bathroom scale is $17 digital so....I forgot to do my measurements!  And my boyfriend is sleeping where my measuring tape is right now lol  I'll do it tomorrow.

I'm glad more people are joining.  Smile

I suck lol I haven't lost anything,but then I haven't gained so that's good! I haven't done right this week at all, I'll get my act together this week coming...

Can I join??  I'm 5'6" and somtimes can get to 168 I'm trying so hard to stay in the 160's and someday get to my 150 I was at before I quit smoking 3 yrs ago.  Today was not pretty 176  but I have faith if I be good this weekend I can get to 173 by Tuesday.

I haven't done measurements in a while but  they avg

hips - 44

waist - 33

chest 33.5 - at bra strap line

Arms - 12.5

thighs -- 23

I have the fattest knees you'd ever want to see!!  I hate my fat knees the most

Okay, so I'm a bit bigger at 5'8" and I weighed in at 172 this morning. (a day late, but better late than never!).  I started with cc a month ago and I weighed 182...so I'm very excited about my 10 pound loss!  Your posts inspired me to take my measurements.  I had thought about doing it before, but I just hadn't gotten to it.  So, this morning, this is what I got:

chest:  39 1/2

waist:  33

hips:  40.5

thigh:  24

I'm totally grossed out by my thighs.  Definitely an area to address. Ugh.

I will take new inches tonight.  Weighed in this morning at my lowest weight to date since joining cc -- 165.   I did a happy dance right there!   ( ; 

Well, officially as of May, 27th of this year, I weighed 165lbs.  Now it's July 12 and I weigh 151lbs as of this morning.  ^_^ Oh yeah, I'm 5'6" too, medium-large frame (more on the large side unfortunately).  I haven't measured myself but a few lbs ago my waist was 29, bust (thickest part of the chest) was 35.5-36 (it fluctuated for 2 days), under boob bra size was 33, hips were 38, thighs were 24 and calves were 17.  I have giant legs, lol.  I guess I'm very curvy everywhere even though I'm just now in the normal range of weight.  My mom's genetics. Laughing

I am new here. I just joined. I am no starnger to weight loss - lost 80 pounds give or take and kept it off for years. However last year I gained about 8-12 pounds.

I am almost 45 years old. I wiegh 163/164. I would like to get to low 150's again.

My measurments:

waist: 30"

Hips: 35"

Thigh:21.5

Under bust: 32"

Calves:14.5

I work out ok, and such but I cheat - with cookies usually. Sigh...if I just gave that up! I would get there. I keep trying.

I want to get to goal all ready..

 

So is this a challenge? Where is the beginning post of this? Whats the goal with people our age, weigh the sameish?

I wear size 6/8 currently - but not missis. Just normal ladies clothes. I do not shop on the jr dept very much! If I did, I would wear an 11 I think.
