mm. Im 5'7-5'7.5

im 130-129ish looking to get to 120.

well last time around the same time of year , i was in the same predicament, same weight and wanted to lose weight....i did that by eating mostly veggies, watching protions, barley any sweets or no simple carbs at all!!!  exercising lots, and would always stop eating at like 7pm...but i wasnt hungry or starving myself and i got to like 110, it's underweight but it felt sooo good...and you have to get used to doing that, which is my problem right now....but i'm trying to get in as many vegs as possible!!!
I'm not quite 5'7 but I'm 5'6.5 and I'm at 135 and I would love to be 125 by Spring Break :)

I'm 5' 7 1/2" (was 5'8" but I'm shrinking already) and want to lose 12 pounds total. I just started a little over a week ago at 142 and my goal is  to be down to 130 hopefully by March 20 (my 10th Anniversary) but definitely by my 35th birthday on May 21. I don't want to lose weight too fast.

I'm 5'7'ish...I weigh about 140. I want to loose 10 -15 lbs or so. I just started this website today. I have 4 children & would love to be thin again.

How perfect is this?!?!

I am 5'7" and have lost approx. 23 pounds on CC since Sept.  I've been weighing in Mondays but have taken December "off" so I'm not sure exactly what I weigh until tomorrow.  Somewhere around 128 or 129, I'm guessing.  I'd like to get down to 120 by the end of March.

Learning how to eat healthy and changing my diet has come really easy to me - go figure.  It's the exercise that I need to get better at.  At this weight, I don't have a natural 500 calorie differential just by restricting calories so I have to count on boosting that burn meter.  I made a committment to walk on my treadmill for 30 minutes everyday for 6 weeks (I'm going to walk my way through the audio Bible).  My hubby just bought me a Bowflex so I'm going to pump some major iron too (I guess it's rubber isn't it?).

Thanks for starting this.  We'll post weigh-ins tomorrow (1/7)?

im 5'7

Wow this is great.  I am 5'7 150 and would like to lose 10 pounds by April 1st as well.  I will be graduating with my masters and want  to buy a nice dress and feel comfortable in it.  All the encouragement will definitley help.

Mondays sounds good to me cause I have officially started *again* today.

Not off to a very good start.  I strained a muscle and cannot workout at all which is extremely frustrating.  Hopefully I'll be able to start doing something within the next week or so.  I'm going to focus on whole foods over the next two weeks and see how that goes.  I'm also going to try and cold-turkey caffeine.  I've been drinking way too much.  I went through a detox program about a year ago and went off caffeine.  I felt fantastic.  Hopefully I'll get back to that point!

hey! i started out on CC last year at this time, then took about 8 months off (OOPS) and now I need to lose more weight then ever, well 10 lbs isn't that much I guess.  I am 5'6" (close enough?!) and weigh 135.  My goal weight is 128 for March, then 125 by spring.  And HOPEFULLY this time I will stick with this longer than a few months and get back down to my high school weight of 120 over the summer.  Maybe... But I will be happy as long as I'm in the 120's.

Since everyone here only has to lose about 10 lbs do you guys have a problem sticking with it? I know that I do.  I go through phases where I'm like "I dont need to lose weight, I'm healthy" (and that is true) but then I go through phases where I feel so ashamed of myself and am really disatisfied with my body... like right now.  Share any tips if you have some!  I do feel like the weekly weigh-in and community asmosphere definately help me a lot.

Good luck everyone!  We can do this!!!

I dont weigh my self very often so Im just guestimating

1/7/08 Weigh In

141.2

My room mates and I threw a party for New Years.  We provided healthy-ish snacks (veges and dips) but had a few friends who brought chocoate snacks.  The first thing I did in order to get on track for getting to my goal was throw out the left-over junk (about 1.5 pounds of fudge, Keepler Elves cookies, peanut butter chocolate cookies, etc).  Luckily, my room mates didn't complain and even said that they were glad I did it (one would like to get her "Miss America Legs" back).

Other than that, I'm going to continue watching what I eat and getting myself into the gym in order to get rid of these last 10 or so pounds.

Good luck to everyone!
