Do you weigh in the morning, or afternoon? Back in the 130's this morning!

I broke the 140 barrier this morning, & weighed 139. I don't know if that's what I should call my true weight, because I know it will go up in the afternoon.

So I guess my question is that I am inclined to believe the morning weigh in is the more accurate because of water weight. I also know that I need to weigh at the same time every week, but I am just so excited to see that I am back into the 130's. YAY!!!

After "going to the bathroom", pretty much naked, first thing in the morning, every day (unless I'm not home...use the SAME scale each day).

Morning morning morning.   Imagine taking all the food and drink you'd drink in a day and putting it in a tub, then stepping onto the scale holding that tub.  That's your weight in the afternoon!  I never take afternoon weight seriously.

In the morning as it offers the most consistent benchmark.  Also, don't forget to drink water right up until bedtime, otherwise you wind up getting dehydrated.  Another benefit of weighing in the morning is it sets the stage for your entire day.  If you have gained then you work harder that day.  If you have lost, then you walk around all day with a big smile on your face which makes everyone around you wonder what you've been up to.....   Hee hee.

Congratulations jenhelle, it's always great to break into another decade. The morning weight is probably the best bet and after you went to the bathroom! so you lose some oz. But don't be so hang up on the scale as fluctuations occur from morning to afternoon, day to day, depending on what you eat and exercise, a load of crap, literally!
