I seriously didn't think I was going to lose anything, in fact I thought I would gain! I've been estimating calories rather than actually counting them. I guess I'm pretty good at that since I'm a cook.
I had to weigh myself twice this morning because I just couldn't believe it! If only I can get under the 50, and start seeing 49, 48, 47 now...

Congrats on your loss lluva! You'll be losing week by week in no time as long as you stick with it. Sometimes you'll hit a plateau, at that point increasing the amount you eat by a couple hundred calories usually helps.

Congrats everyone on your success this week. I didn't loose very much this week. I've been bicycling hard this week too. Maybe I should up my Cal's a little for a day or two. I think I'm still in a plateau.

Thanks all for your support I cant wait till the point I loose 20 pounds it will be awsome I never been skinny I've my weight has been in the 200 since I was 12 so it is gonna be exciting to see me at 180 I've been this size for the last 3 years because I had my kids but that's over no more kids I want to loose it all but any ways a plateau is when you stop losing weight right? and I suppose to up my calories for this and 1 more things I hate digital scale they always read different by 2 pounds through the day.

Everything counts! You didn't gain weight this week, you even lost. Most likely you've got measurement changes.
I came to work today at the hospital, I haven't been here for a couple of months. They were all oohing and aahing over my weight loss and wanted the secret. I told them. Disappointment. No secret - hard work.

I will take the 2lbs. I got into a pair of jeans I have not been able to wear in a while, so that made me happy.
STG 300 by 10-31-09 and then 280 by 1-7-10, my long term goal is about 165 but I can't look that far ahead...it gets to much to handle.

I had a good week; kept to my calories except for one day:

I'm very happy with this weight for several reasons. First, a 3 lb loss for the week is awesome. Second is that I may have lost 100 lb at this point; I was 306 the first time I weighed myself after 4 months working out / dieting and not knowing my weight. I know it was at least 320 because I had dropped at least a size by the time I was 306, but who knows? I'm calling it 90ish lb lost for now! The other is that my drivers license says 230, because that's what I weighed when I was 15 and got my permit. So it's pretty close to true now!
Genowg-opps...I am soooo sorry. I will never make that mistake again. Give me a high five guy!!! (LOL)

About time I lost some for a change. My lowest low for the week was 237.2, but I'll take this. Total loss for the week 3.2.
I so love seeing all the numbers come down!!!
I am experimenting this week. I think too much processed food is inhibiting my loss due to maximum sodium intake. So, I did my grocery shopping and here I am with lots of fresh veggies and fruit and leafy greens. I will see how much of a difference it makes in the scale.
