Well I finally broke through my plateau. At least I hope so. I increased my work out intensity a little, and upped my daily cals a little. I tried Dr. Al Sears idea he calls Pace. where you work out in short high intensity spurts then rest, and repeat, etc. instead of steady continuos aerobics for a long time. I bicycle, so I do spurts of hard pedaling then coast a little, instead of the constant steady pedaling for 90 minutes that I was doing. I still stay on the bike for the full 90minutes. I'll let you know as I go how it's working. So far so good.
Here's my # for this week:
SW: 248 (4/03/09)
LW: 187.6
CW: 184.6 (yea!)![]()
Mini Goal 170 by Jan'10 (14.6 more to go)
Ultimate Goal: 145 by April'10
Good luck everyone on your goals this week![]()
Hi twsimpson, You have the same goal weight as I do. Welcome to this group. It is very active and most of your posts will be answered. Welcome to our group
OK TW. Just wanted to be sure you aren't messing your body up trying to lose weight while you also provide nutrition for a growing baby. this is such a stressful time, be sure to fine some rest for yourself.
Hi everyone, I hope I'm on the right weigh-in page. Here are my stats:
SW 266 - prior to joining CC on Oct 14/09
SWCC - 213
LW - 211
CW 211
I have only 2 confessions to make: directly after my last weigh-in I figured I could eat two slices of pizza, having worked out the calories. Wrong. I ate 4 slices and had to throw out the rest. Last night at a birthday dinner they had black forest cake. I ate a medium piece. It fit in my calorie count for the day, only because I did not eat lunch. I had to go back to bed yesterday at noon to get more sleep, as wearing my brace and using crutches is just wearing me out - other than that no excuses. I'll just wait for the next weigh-in by which date something should have moved. I have to go soothe Tulip who's having a bark-off with the dishwasher. She occasionally confuses her guard dog duties with the noises of household appliances!
Sorry, I do know the date is October 26th, and not the 19th. Also the date of my start weight was January 1, 2009.
