Weigh In Week - 10/25/09
SW: 280
LW: 252
CW: 250
Mini Goal: 30lbs. by Christmas, 8lbs. left to go!
I was hoping for 249 this week but I guess that will be for next week. At least I worked off the weight I gained.
AAAAAaaayayayayaya everyone is doing so well :D Great job everyone! Maintaining, losing, losing multiply pounds! Keep hard at work!
I don't have a weight to register cause my daughter freaked out at the gym and I had to leave before I ever even got into the main part :( I know i can weigh tomorrow but I have this OCD thing with official sunday weights - so next week!
SW 221.5 (9/13)
LW 211
CW: ???
Lluva,
I reworked my calorie target and it's gone down to 1200. It makes me sad and happy. Sad that I have to work a little harder to lose. Happy because it means I've lost enough to decrease my intake!
SW: 305 (January 2008)
LW: 236.8
CW: 235.6
Thus far I have lost 69.4, getting very close to my 3rd big goal (75 pounds lost). Then the work begins on the 4th goal of 100 pounds lost. Have broke my big goal up into mini goals (5-10 pounds) and maxi goals (25 pounds). On a bit of a plateau but I just keep going.
Good job everyone! I've been in California all week. Working for a friend of mine on a remodeling job. Didn't have access to a scale, so I weighed myself this morning when I got home (6am)
SW: 248lbs 4/03/09
LW: 184.6lbs
CW: 185.4lbs (15.4 more to go by Jan.)
Muni goal: 170lbs by first of the year
Ultimate Goal: 145lbs by April'10
A little bit of a gain, but I drove all night, drinking coffee and water. So I'm not too concerned. It's not like I just woke up all dehydrated after a nights sleep. I'm really happy because I couldn't bicycle the whole time, and I was afraid I might go off the wagon while I was there, as the guys I was working with put away quite a few beers at the end of work every day, but I pretty much resisted, and stuck to my 1,500 cals a day. A couple days I went around 2000, but I was working 12hrs a day. I ran it through CC and estimate I was probably burning around 4,,000+cals. a day. That's around 1,000cal. more than I do when I'm home and bicycling. So I'm looking forward to a better weigh-in tomorrow am. After a nights sleep.
Good luck everyone, I'm going to bed! lol
Cody,
Good job. Looks like 3+ pounds this week. Congrats. And WOW!!! 69 off. I know your feet have to love that!
Genowg,
I know you'll break thru that plateau soon. Maybe in the next day or two when you aren't working so hard and get some good rest.
My results are probably a little skewed because LW is from Monday evening and CW is from Sunday mid-day:
SW: 320+
LW: 239.6
CW: 233.4
Mini-goal: 230 (almost there!)
Ultra goal: 160
I don't think it's an ACTUAL 6 lb loss because of the morning / evening thing but it's good nonetheless! I've been trying to beat the 'around 240' mark for three weeks so hopefully it'll stick this time.
Sourmena,
It's got to be pretty close to 6 anyway. That's a great total, even if it is really only 5. I guess you know that. Congrats and don't worry, it'll all straighten out. And congrats for dropping nearer to 230 than 240!!

Thanks TexMom52! It was 1.2 pounds this week (but I'm not complaining). Slow & steady wins the race, or something like that. LOL And interesting you should say something about my feet, I've gone down a shoe size since losing the weigh (was a 10 1/2 and now all my shoes are too big, just bought new shoes and they were a 9 1/2). My feet are thinking, what happened?

I know exactly how you feel...I got down to 233 & then inched back up to 237. At 235.6 this week, and glad to be there. My mini goal was under 230 by Halloween, not positive that will happen but I just keep on moving. Congrats on your great loss!
Today is day one for me - it's lunchtime and so far, so good. (don't laugh - sometimes I don't make it through breakfast before giving up!)
Starting weight - 285

Glad to "meet" all of you!
Lisa
Good afternoon, Lisa! Yep, baby steps. I take each day as it comes and there are always going to be "bumps in the road". I'm learning to pick myself, dust myself off and get back to moving. Just had a couple of rough weeks but am right back to counting my calories, moving my body and keeping myself motivated. Look forward to watching your progress.
Lisa,
So nice to meet you. I may end up calling you Oldmom, cause I can't remember everyone's real name unless they include them in the post.
Congratulations on making thru lunch. Every victory is one step closer. NEVER SURRENDER. NEVER GIVE UP. If you don't make it thru all the way to bedtime...then start again in the morning until you do make it thru a bedtime. Just keep getting up and coming back.
Eventually you'll make it thru weeks at a time without a stumble. Then months. You have to rebuild those old bad habits into new ones and that takes time.
Be patient with yourself. If you need anything just holler.
Again, Welcome.
Hi everyone, I posted my weigh in info somewhere, but now can't find it. At the risk of boring you, these are my stats:
SW 266 (1/1/09
Join CC 14/10/09 weight 213
LW 211
CW 211
True confessions: I ate a total of 4 pieces of pizza last week Tuesday. How wrong was that? I'd worked out the calories for 2 pieces to fit into my calorie allowance, but didn't stop at 2. Last night at a birthday dinner I had a small piece of black forest cake, which did fit into my calorie schedule, 'cause I was too tired to eat lunch. Except for last night's dinner, I haven't moved much since Thursday, as my left leg has an ankle to thigh brace on it, to keep it rigid. Surprisingly, it's not that painful, and I'm starting to get the hang of moving with my leg following behind me. Can't explain the lack of progress, but at the best of times I lose an average of 1 pound per week. Don't anyone get discouraged!!
Thanks for the nice words, Tex.
I'm still floundering like a fish out of water. It seems like my body does not want to see 249! Which is disappointing. But I'll keep trying. I hope by Sunday I am no longer 250.
You'll get there. Just keep going. Remember Dory from Finding Nemo...Just keep swimming, swimming, swimming....
