Dressed or Undressed?  I don't have a scale so I weigh at work after I've eaten breakfast and fully dressed. Just curious how everyone else weighs themselves. I'm know my weight shows higher due to the full stomach and clothes.

You definitely shouldn't weigh just after you've eaten. Invest in a scale for home if you can.

I weigh first thing in the morning... after tinkle, before eating, undressed. ;) Try to be consistent too for a more accurate reading.

Same for me, first thing in the morning after using the bathroom wearing nothing but undies.

in my home the scale is broken , so i get out to the pharmacy next to my house and scale my self there , it give you you exact weight , hight , and how much fat you got in your body . ( i feel im doing a commercial ) Laughing

Right after I get up, after potty, in the same clothes everyday.  I don't eat either.  If I eat and have forgotten to weigh, i don't weigh at all.

Ok, so I just got a scale not too long ago. This morning I weighed myself after going the bathroom first thing.  On a whim I weighed after breakfast and was a pound less!  Can someone explain?

when i had a scale in my house i would weigh nyself like 10 minutes after i woke up in the morning after i used the bathroom.. be4 i ate

I weigh right after I roll out of bed, use the bathroom, and undress :D I also do it before breakfast.

about 10 min after i use the bathroom first thing AM, before I eat, and naked (TMI I Know)

I do the same thing as the OP - I weigh myself fully dressed, after breakfast, at work.  I do not want a scale at home because I know I would weigh myself far too often.  I only go into work early four days a week so this keeps a cap on things.   I always subtract (and have from the beginning) one pound from my weight to allow for the weight of clothes and things I've already eaten/drank.  I think it's ok to weigh myself this way because while food and clothing may make small differences in my weight that day,  I am looking for a significant change in weight over a relatively long period of time.  Clothing and food are not going to be able to hide that change :)

I hope you stay dressed at the pharmacy!!  I'd hate to walk in and see someone dropping their drawers saying, "don't mind me.  Just weighing in for the day."

I weigh in the AM, naked and after I tinkle.  However, I have a question.  I normally am not able to make a BM until later in the morning/early afternoon.  Do most of you make a BM as well before you weigh?

 My doctor's office always makes me take of my shoes, belt and anything that they think looks heavy (even earrrings once!).

Stark naked and right after the morning pee.  At least that is my "official" daily weight.  I sometimes weigh at night, but with clothes - and subtract 2-3 pounds.

REally doesn't matter when you weigh or what you are wearing -- as long as you weigh under the same conditions each time (similar clothes, similar meal).  This will leave you with a true indicator of what your weight is -- then, someday when/if you have a scale at home you will be able to weigh yourself nude and after using the potty -- and you'll get a new low.

The point is -- weigh yourself under similar conditions every time

That's exactly what I was going to say.  It doesn't matter if you pee before, or eat before... heck, even if you ate the whole day and are wearing a sweater and a winter coat while wearing... as long as it is done at the same time of day and under similar conditions.

 

I usually weigh in the am (not always after using the bathroom... if I don't really have to go I don't fret about the 'extra weight' my waste could add) and usually naked or in my bathing suit.  If I forget first thing in the morning, I have no problem weighing after breakfast because it's not like I eat a pound of food... my ballpark loss figure will still be about  the same.   I don't take weighing so seriously; fluctuations are normal day to day, all I want to know is if, in general, my weight is going in the right direction.

 dont worry about it , i weighted my self in the pharmacy with every thing on even with my heavy convers  ,(  i felt too embarrass to take any thing off .Embarassed )

I weigh myself in the morning after getting up.  Sometimes I tinkle first, other times I don't.  Sometimes I get naked first, other times I don't.  I say it doesn't really matter as long as the general trend is the same.

Morning, after I wake up and go to the bathroom, wearing my PJs (light pants + cami).
