weighing myself wrong??

Quote  |  Reply
i have a really old spring scale that god only knows if its right or not. i usually have to crouch down to read it (i think that was wrong!)

this morning i got up looked and the mirror and looked like i normally do. sooooo i go downstairs and weigh myself but i don't know i stood straight up and then squatted down. there was like a 2 lbs difference!!1 i have been off this whole time.

i'm really trying to get away from the whole caring about the number on the scale thing. im trying to maintain what i thought was 115lbs but is now more like 118lbs.

i guess im just posting this cause i freaked out and now im limiting my cal intake for the day severly though i shouldn't be. ahhhh so confused i guess im just looking for support that's all. what's your best advice for not caring about the number on the scale???

Dude you could crap out 2 lbs. Dont worry about it, especially at 115.

At your weight, 2 pounds doesn't much matter. It could even be water weight fluctuation! That picture from April... you look great! Don't worry about the number on the scale. Especially not on those old scales, they are SO prone to misreadings. Not only because they're harder to read, but the springs wear out over time so it could be you weigh less but because the spring is worn out, it goes down more when you step on it. If anything, try getting a new scale. I would DEFINITELY not be limiting your calories. You look good as is, don't try so hard!

NOT to mention your 5'7.

you should weigh no less than 118. your body probably doesnt want to be less. being underweight is just as bad as being overweight.

If oyu really want an exact number then go to a friends house or a gym or doctors and weigh oyurself there then go home and comparre the weighs. then youll know if its right or wrong
