Weighing yourself in the middle of the day...

I just weighed myself out of curiosity and it's 1PM, I've eaten breakfast, a snack, and lunch...and I'm on my period. I'm definitely not happy with what I saw on the scale but I was just hoping someone could ease my pain if it's true that the number on the scale could be nothing to worry about under these conditions? I know that your weight can flucuate a couple pounds throughout the day, but I'm talking about like 4 pounds above what I was expecting to see. Also, does water weight from PMS come off when your period starts, or do you not lose it until your period is over? I'd really appreciate any input...I just don't want to believe what I saw today.

Simply water and lunch can be 4lb and you are menstruating!
If this is any CONSULT for you.. I weigh myself when I get home everyday.. I walk by the scale at home and just step on it.. Ist inmy kitchen..... I see it often.. I dont fret evening or ANYTIME after first thing in the AM anymore because I can weigh up to 607 lbs heavier during the day... and lose it all over night. You sound like me now.. I have eaten all of that and its TTOM for me..... butIm not near a scale to tell you what my difference is.. Daily its about 3-5 lbs of a difference from morning to evening.. DONT FRET! I lose quite a bit the next week after my period due to loss of water.... I have an article on how that works if you wantto read it let me know. Hope this eases your mind!
I don't lose the extra water weight until a day or so after the end of my TOM.  Until then I carry about 2-3 lbs.

I will get on the scale several times a week.  I only chart the reading on Tuesday mornings, after going potty & before getting dressed. 

I can sure relate.  I weigh myself first thing in the morning before I get dressed (you know how many pounds those clothes can weigh!!!!!  If I do step on the scale later in the day, it is always a pound or two (or sometimes more) higher, but I don't panic, because I know that the next morning (after a trip to the bathroom) it will be back down.  Also, I can actually tell when I am going to get my period because all of a sudden I shoot up 4 lbs or so, without having changed anything about my diet or excercise regime.  I usually go into depression/panic mode and then - sure enough - within the next day or two - my period starts.  Then, about 3 days into my period, the extra drops off.
