What is the best time and way to weigh in ?
clothed or unclothed ?
Morning or evening ?
I have been weighing in early from the 1st day before I shower so I don't have to add in the weight of my clothes (clothes seem to add about 2 pounds)
Also I weigh about 1 pound more by the end of the day.
Am I doing it wrong ?

in the morning after you go to the bathroom unclothed. I think this is the best. I usually get up, start the coffee maker, go to the bathroom, then weigh. Then start my day. I have read not to way less than 3 hours after eating or exercising

I wear the exact same outfit every time I weigh. Its not really how much you weigh but that you have lost some most weeks.. I always use the same scale at the mall that gives me a print out and I only weigh once a week. before lunch.. really "exact" weight isnt important I dont think. I never "take off " weight for my clothes. As long as I am losing even if only a pound nearly every week Im doing Great. And you should feel the same way. The fact you try week after week is AWESOME! and you should focus on this amazing effort and the overall loss. !!!
I've even made sure my hair was dry when weighing in. The water still in the hair could make you seem heavier!! =)
giggles...its funny the things we do to get the scale to say less...giggles...as for me I do the same thing...weigh buck naked...no ponytail ...and my feet get cold every morning too.....huggers to all the weighing naked people
I think most people weigh in the morning because that is the most consistent time....
I go unclothed, becasue I'd never manage to remember what "the same outfit" was at 6 am....
In the evening you may have had a different eating / workout pattern day to day.... weighing in the morning is probably the time across a long period of time that your body is the most consistent.

I'm so glad I'm not the only one who weighs in in the early morning naked as a jay bird and also remove my ponytail holder. I do not take off my rings but do they really add that much weight? I don't think so. I have gotten on the scale in the moring and in the evening but my weigh is the least in the morning is that cheating?
I weigh first thing in the morning, after the bathroom and before eating, drinking, or getting dressed. I am wearing only my night gown. I have had to weigh every day for years because of a medical condition that causes me to retain fluid. taking my weight and blood pressure tell me how much I'm retaining and that tells me how much medicine to take. I'm glad I have this routine, but the fluid retention makes it hard to tell if I've lost or gained any real weight. I hope by keeping a chart here I'll gradually see that weight creep down.
That extra pound at the end of the day is probably water. weight at the same time of the day and wear the same things each time. The reason I weigh before getting dressed is, all my nightgowns weigh about the same, so I have no doubt about what is me and what is clothes.

hehehe I actually remember taking off my socks too! how much could they possibly weight??
I got on the scale 2 x this morning and I weighed a 1/2 lb more than I did the first time - got on and off and on and off and it was still a half lb more! I actually gained 2 1/2 lbs since yesterday -(water weight right???) Oh well, my husband and I are starting to work out together today!

corral I have to say exercising with my husband is my favorite. he pushes me to go as far as I can and its nice to have someone tell you good job when you are done. Its good to motivate each other.
I also weigh every morning...I wake up, go to the bathroom and weigh butt-naked. No rings, no ponytail, I even take my glasses off... :) I want to know every morning EXACTLY what I weigh; wet hair, glasses, rings, earrings, neclaces, even socks...they can add up. So keep up the first thing in the morning naked weighing!
