Weight doesn't match pants size? *awkward topic, sorry*

So I just joined this, hi!  I'm 18, 5'9 and about 200 lbs...I know, way too much.  However, I don't feel that I look my size at all.  I wear a size 10-11 in pants.  It's possible that all my weight is in my chest area as I'm a 34 DD...so when do...erm...chest areas...shrink?  Is it possible?

For me, my breasts are the first thing to go when I start losing. I dropped two cup sizes rapidly while it took me much longer to lose inches off of my waist. I kind of want them back! Ugh, the grass is always greener I guess. :)

I would guess that they will shrink as you lose weight. That seems to be typical overall, although I do know a couple people that have lost weight and kept their chests. Maybe only time will tell?

I was 5' 9" and 195 lbs when I started..people never believed it..I had a friend say "NO you couldn't of been more than like..160!!" the taller you are the better some of that weight sits on you! But I also went from a DD to a C by losing 30 pounds. Now I have no trouble finding shirts anymore!

Well I would be thrilled if I dropped size in that "area"...It would make dress shopping SO much easier!  It's impossible to find dresses as they are way to big around my waist and too small on my chest :p

Could this be a significant factor to why I weigh so much?

I've lost 33 pounds, and many many inches, but am still a D cup :) . I haven't lost a bit of boob, and my fiance loves it that way LOL. Good luck to ya, because I haven't seen a bit fall off from my chest

i weigh 140 and i'm 5'1...I'm still in a size 8 bottom, down from a 10 (although I have't lost a single pound-  I actually gained 7 pounds) -  whenevery I lose weight; it comes off my face, then neck, then boobs, then arms....and NEVER hips and butt which is where I need it to come off the most!!!!

I have a similar problem vanessa1031, my belly has shrunk but my thighs and butt are just as big! So now my pants are even BIGGER in the waist but I can still hardly pull them up my legs. I can never go without a belt.

They say the first place you gain is usually the last place you lose.. So hopefully your boobs were the last thing to grow! I know it's frustrating when you can't find things that fit correctly.

Each of us tends to be a little different based on genetics.  If the women in your family tend towards the busty, you may lose some weight off that area during overall weight loss, but maybe not as much as you'd like.

Unfortunately, only a lucky few of us DON'T have some body area that makes finding clothes that fit well difficult.  I'm a typical pear, so as I continue to lose weight my chest size will keep shrinking, but my shirt size will still have to fit my wider lower half!

I have the exact same problem, and have often wondered the same thing, if I was carrying a lot of it in my chest.  Before I gained, I was always a D cup.  After I gained I went up to a DD.  I weigh around 205 and am on the short side...5'4" and wear a size 16 pants.  I don't know what size pants other people wear at that weight, but I do know my sister weights about ten pounds more than me and wears two sizes bigger.  I think it's just that we carry weight in different places.  And depending on where, it will either make you look your weight or not.   I also have problems with buying pants, because while the waist will fit, the legs and butt will be too big.  Plus I'm short, but not short enough for petite, so any pants are either too short or too long by an inch. It drives me crazy!!

My problem was that I felt my boob size didn't match my pants size.  I am about the same height as you, and I was in the 150 lb range wearing size 10 or 11 too, but my bra size was only 34B.  Now I have lost about 20 lbs, I fit into a 6 or 7, but my bra size is still 34B.  I am much more proportionate now and I love it.

I'm 5'2" at 162 pounds and I wear a size 14 because of my stomach. If I buy pants that fit my butt and thighs, I can't button them. Some people are pear shaped one way or another but I think I'm shaped like an apple!
