I've been on CC for about a week, I guess, and yesterday was the first day I managed to get in all of my recommended calories. I was used to eating 800 a day instead of 1300 a day. Anyway -- I felt so stuffed last night, and when I weighed myself this morning, my weight went UP. Is that from eating more calories, or probably from the food? Because I noticed that I did eat a lot of my food near the end of the day. Do you think eating most of my calories in the beginning of the day will help?

It's natural to gain a little bit of temporary weight after upping your cals, but yes, it's probably from the weight of the food. And it is healthier to eat most of your cals in the beginning of the day anyway. :) hope this helps.

Don't obsess over WHEN to eat... it's probably from the weight of the extra food in your system - it takes about 24 hours for the average person to fully process a meal. Just weigh yourself first thing in the morning each day after you've been to the bathroom, and don't worry about the little extra weight - if you keep eating the same amount that extra is going to be stable and you'll still see your weight go down from here.
They say, eat breakfast like a king, lunch like a ...er...middleclassman, and dinner like a peasant. It's better to eat in the morning, so you can work off the calories during the day. If you eat too much before going to sleep or are unable to work off the extra dinner calories, the food sits in your stomach all night, or gets stored quicker. I've noticed eating and working out in the morning provide better results :]
