Do you weight 175 - 185 pounds?
LOL, sorry I didn't have time to say what I wanted. I'm glad to see sooo many reply.
Wow, I can't weight to work off and be a normal BMI again. I think mine said I was extremly over weight. I'm 5 foot 3, and as of Wed. I droped about 2 pounds. Sorry I just can't get my head around the Kg's lol.
Well I wanted to see if I can keep an eye on some of you all that are like me. I weight 180.4 pounds. And just wanted to know others who weight about this and need to work off about 40 like me. LOL, That's all :)
Well, if it helps I weighed 170 last summer and have lost 26 since then?
Yes, that's me!
Im 5'8 and last summer i weighed 178. I am now down to 138!!
I weighed in at 177 this morning.. trying to lose about 50lbs or so yet. (started about 185, maybe a little more.)
I have 3 boys also.. plus one girl. Need a weight loss buddy? ![]()
I've been hovering around 180-185 for the last month--but I've been pretty unmotivated. I want to lose another 45 pounds. I started this time at 215 back in January. I'm trying to make the beginning of summer get my motivation kicked into gear.
That sounds like me also. I am 5'2" and now weigh in at about 174. I have lost about 22 lbs since the end of January. Right now I am focusing on small goals. Which currently is to lose 10 more lbs so that I can be out of the "obese" zone on a BMI chart. I've only been on CC for a couple of weeks now but it is really helping. I was stuck at 180 lbs for close to two months and once I started counting calories on here, I lost 6.5 lbs and finally broke thru that plateau. I, too, need a weight loss buddy.
Yep. That's me! I weighed in at 178 this morning. At the end of last summer I was 165, but then I gained about 15 during my school year (I'll be a senior in college). My goal loss is 43 lbs and to keep it off!!!
I'm with Marisa. My #1 goal right now is to get down to 175, which at my height will take me down to "overweight" on a BMI chart. After that, I'll find another mini-goal to get my through this, five pounds at a time. Eventually I do want to get to the "normal" range on the chart.
I weigh 175 - 177 (The scale hasn't been the same since last week when I fell on it. I might need a new battery.) I need to lose 40+lbs for a healthy BMI. But I'm 5'1, 23yrs old, and have a large body frame. Sometimes I wonder if 140lbs would really look that bad.
I'm currently severely obese and will make it to obese if I lose 10lbs. But it is better than January when I was over 200lbs (only had the analog scale and it said 198lbs but the analog says 10 less than the digital. )
That is me...I started this second weight loss journey at 185/183...I am now down to 179.6.
I went on WW in June 2005. I lost 23 lbs within 3-4 months. I kept it off for almost a year. But after I got married, it became harder...and I ate a lot of foods that were 0 points/calories...which was enlaced with Splenda...I found out the hard way I was allergic to Splenda
.
So after the 20 pound weight gain..I am back to becoming healthy. This time I desire to get down to 155/150. But this time my motivation is not a special date (wedding date) that can come and go, and goes so does my motivation. I desire to become more healthier, and my husband and I desire to start our family within the next two year. When that time comes before we start planning, I desire to lose an additional 10 pounds ( ole secret my mom used with all four of us, and kept her girlious figure). I am 5'5" so I have room to continue to lose...
That's me too - I weigh about 186 and want to lose 40-50 lbs.
Oh and congrats Carolinamoon7, that is amazing - how did you do it? Did you use this site?
Oh and sorry, I am 5'9".
I started WW 6 weeks ago with an original weight of 177 (I'm 5'8" and aiming at losing about 30-40 lbs total, I have a small frame for my height). My weekly weigh-in is in about an hour, but last week I almost hit my first 10 lb loss....I'm hoping to hit it this week. So technically I'm not in the 175-185 range anymore, but that's where I started...does that count?![]()
I weighted 184 this morning.. I lost some weight since january (i weighted 197) but then i got lazy again.. Now i am planning to work hard and loose 30 pounds...
Well on Monday I weighed 184.4 and havent got back on the scale. I started to change my eating habits a few months ago. I have not lost a thing! I am getting upset. I drink 1 soda a day, eat oatmeal for breakfast and a salad with chicken for lunch, apple or banana for snack in afternoon and dinner veggie, meat ( small ) or chicken and a milk. I like to eat baby carrots too, my son and I walk for 30 mins 4 nights a week and just got my bike going so we can ride together too. I used to eat and eat and gosh I just love food! I also quite smoking and I think that it why I put on some weight too. I also am having back pain too now. I had xrays last week and they couldnt find anything wrong. But that is also why I would like to loose some weight. And my dad had 4 stents put in last week because he has heart disease. I know I can have it and I can pass it to my son so that is another reason why we have tried to make a change. But I am just not loosing and I really would like too. If anyone can give me some inside tips that would be great. Thank you
Hi everyone, just got back from riding bike~ and planting some flowers. I was just wondering what everyone does or eats to help them loose weight? I need some help and I want to learn from you all here. Thanks

Hehe, I did the extreme thing when I decided I was going on a new body quest. I threw out all the junk food, all the frozen pizzas or other things, and said goodbye to sodas. I brought only lean meats (fish, chicken, and sometimes turkey), and one small thing of beef to eat once a week like a treat. Rice was replaced with brown rice. Pasta was replaced with wheat pasta. I brought a gallon jug for water and make sure I finish that along with liter bottle I keep at work. Being hydrated makes you at the least drop water weight. I think I lost four pounds the first week because of that.
When logging things, if you're making them from scratch, use the New Recipe and then log it that way. If you're adding the seasonings and oils you used to make the food, it should be more accurate than use going and logging chicken breast.
Are you always biking and gardening or is that something different? You should find out your BMR. If you're that active, you might not be eating enough or too much. Everyone here recommends that you eat 500 less than what you would burn if you're an inactive person. If you're really active, then have 500 less than what you burn in a day so that you lose a pound a week. (3500 calorie deficiency = 1 pound lost)
I'm still fairly new around here, so if you have any questions, you should look towards one of the vets here. Everyone is really friendly since we're all here to support each other.
