WEIGHT GAIN POSTERS: This is NOT the ED Recovery forum!
There is a sticky about this that has been up for over THREE months. A note on topics for the Weight Gain Forum: READ ME before posting!
This forum is not your personal journal nor is it specifically the "ED recovery forum". So please, post all rants, ED-related but not weight gain related topics and, basically, anything not related to gaining weight in the Health and Support forum or in your journal.
When this forum becomes cluttered with posts and rants from people who're asking for health help beyond weight gain issues that also have an eating disorder, it alienates the weight gainers that might want to post that DON'T have an eating disorder. Personally I'd like ANYONE that needs to gain weight to feel comfortable enough to post in this forum.
I am tired of moving threads.
Sorry, I believe a post I put up yesterday was in the wrong place. I apologise for this.
Thank you for this. I mostly avoided this forum for that reason. I'm currently at a normal weight and have been for some time (I go my what my doctor recommends), am trying to gain a small amount of lean weight to improve my strength, and seeing multiple posts regarding ED recovery makes me a bit skittish about the whole thing. And kind of like "hey, I'm trying to put on 6 more pounds of muscle by summer" and discussions of minimizing fat gains won't be taken well and might even appear unsupportive or triggering.
That's alright, Ryan. And as for muscle gain and cutting threads, they're fine. The facepalm inducing stuff is when I see people who go, "I want to put on a load of muscle but gain no fat!" which is... a physical impossibility.
Which reminds me of something. (And this isn't at you, Ryan!)
Not everyone in this forum has an eating disorder so please don't assume such when you reply. It can alienate and offend.
just wanted to bump to remind people
Samesies....

Figure out what type of eater you are and you might just find the answer to permanent weight loss.
