Weight Gain / Recovery Support Blogs?

Quote  |  Reply

Hi everyone,

I am a recovering anorexic, and I just started my second week of outpatient therapy after having been disordered since about May of 2008. I've been reading these boards since about November, trying to work up the courage and motivation to start a gaining plan. I'm 21 y/o female, 5'5".

It's been so inspirational to read the posts on this board and finally see how others struggle with the same issues and have the same questions as I do, and these boards were actually a big factor in my seeking recovery options, so I want to thank everyone in this community for that.

My question is regarding weight gain / ED recovery support blogs - what are some good ones out there? It seems like every time you turn around, there is a weight loss support blog, but google searches and random browsing have turned up nothing. If anyone has a blog or a set of them that they have found helpful/supportive, I'd love for you to post a link to it.

I know a couple of regulars from the Weight Gain forum, here, post on their own blogs. They won't be able to link them in their posts on the forums, but if you check on some profiles you may find links within.

I don't have my own blog but I want to add a friendly reminder to others - linking to OTHER blogs is okay, but please keep a personal blog link to your profiles. This is simply due to the CC Posting Guidelines - Links to personal sites, pages, and blogs should be placed on users' profile pages - so I don't want to have to remove any links that could be viably helpful!

And I should add, congrats on taking the step towards weight gain :] There's a helpful sticky with general advice at the top of the forum (if you've not seen it already) called The Aim is to Gain: Advice on Weight Gain, Whatever Your Reason - but if you have any specific questions, say!
