This club is for whom are trying to Gain weight, who would like to join? :)

I've been trying to gain weight to get to my comfort zone of 113 and not be visited by the police for suspected for some things because of me being skinny. Though, some have become good friends, hehe.

Everytime I gain a pound, I loose it immediatly. I will probally always be at 110.

My medications supposed to make me gain weight, I gained 5lbs and stopped. Gives me the night munchies.
I usually drink about 2 ensure plus a day with 3 medium meals and 2 snack times, but I've been adjusting my diet every week to test out ideas that I thought might work. Haven't found one yet though, my mom and me might got to the doc soon to see if she's hypothyroid and me hyperthyroid.
im trying to gain weight but my metabolism is fast right after i recovered from anorexia..i try to get 2000 calories daily and work out for 30 mins a day. so far ive gained 1 pound lol . im 108 right now and im trying to get to 112 to go back to karate :) (moms rule) and then after that ill up my cal intake so i can get to 115-120
I gotta gain 20 pounds in 5 months, or my parents won't let me go to college...

I'm 5'7", weigh 90, need to weigh 110..
4 pounds a month = 1 a week... ugh!  is that even possible to do healthfully?
I was thinking of maybe getting some more exercise into my week and try some of that N-Large stuff since they got some healthy stuff in them I've read. What do you all think of the stuff or what knowledge of bad parts should I know of?

1-2 pounds a week is healthy.
I'm having trouble just maintaining plus I have NO FREAKING CLUE what my expenditure is... I know what it "should" be, but I bet I screwed it up.  So how do I figure it out, in order to add 500 a day to it?  That would make me gain 1 lb a week, right??
hey - I'm recovering from anorexia and looking to gain back about 25 more pounds to be around 108 lbs.

Radbird - yeah, it's possible to gain a pound a week in a healthy way.  That's what my dietitian would like to see me do, but so far I haven't been able to get enough calories to gain yet.  I'm working to find that number and get there though.  You might just have to experiement with the calories... move it up and stick to that for a certain amount of time to see what you're body does, whether it gains, loses, or maintains and then adjust it from there.
Sweetie is right. Some people are different when it comes to calories, for me, I can maintain at 3000 calories a day. Which seems kind of odd to me so I'm going to be checked for hyperthyroidism. May I ask of your weight and height radbird?

Edit - Read your profile...

Okay, here is a suggestion, Radbird... try...

2600 calories a day with 360g of good carbs, 90g of protien, and 80g of fats if you can fit it all in. But get up to this point slowly or it might not feel good if you're not near this already.
Keyeno - it's in my post above the last one..

I'm 5'7" (maybe a tiny less, but basically 5'7") and I weigh about 90 pounds.  As far as activity, I don't go to the gym or anything, but I work at Jamba Juice about 20 hours a week, which consists of constantly being on my feet, running here and there, lifting heavy boxes etc. etc.  I also play DDR for 30 min. once or twice a week, lift weights for 15 min. once or twice a week, and go for 40 minute walks once or twice a week.

Put it this way - If I work, I do something unstrenuous for a little bit of exercise - if I don't, I'll do weigt lifting and DDR, or something like that.

any guessing as to expenditure?

Oh, and I've been eating around 500 calories a day for 2 months.
My above post should be an alright expenditure, if you want, I can suggest some foods that can help. :)
haha any suggestions that don't include: peanut butter, nuts of any sort, desserts, and heavy breads?

In essence, suggestions that are healthy? (no nuts or meat)

Today for dinner I had:

meat from 1 chicken leg (baked) mixed with
1/4 cup of cooked brown rice
and 1.5 cups of steamed mixed veggies

How's that?
How about... Strawberries, peaches, spinach, radishes, broccoli, cauliflower, rutabagas, cabbage, yogurts, brussel sprouts(me: eww), tomatoes, carrots, and potatoes?.. There probably more I can think of, but not off the top of my head right now like that.

But why not nuts? allergies or somethin'? Because other then that they're very good for you.

Sounds like an alright dinner, I usually try to shoot for a 700 calorie dinner. :)
I eat lots of yogurt, apples, broccoli, and carrots already.  I'm thinking about buying a whole bunch of radishes and trying to make baked radish chips (I hear they're good).  I also love brussel sprouts and artichokes, but they're expensive.  I put salsa and mustard on most everything.. haha

No nuts because my mom is constantly trying to stuff them down my throat and I have developed a loathing for them.

I love pretty much all foods.  Even desserts - I just can't get myself to eat them is all. haha
I'm not a picky eater by any means in the traditional sense of the term.  Only the ED sense.  :-P

Hmm... I could give an example of my diet type, seeing I always try to get at 3000 a day without stuffing myself till I pop, hehe.

And I understand the nut thing, I actually partly developed my loathing for chocolate in that way. >.>
keyeno could you post that diet pleasE? it would be helpful
Well, for breakfast I usually eat 1 container of yogurt, drink 1 ensure plus, 3 tangerines, and 1 banana and jelly sandwich. Then for lunch I eat a turkey sandwich, another yogurt, 2 bananas. Then for dinner I usually eat something with either beef, noodles, or chicken (sometimes all those together) with a good serving of veggies (like peas or stir-fry), with 1 ensure. But throughout the day when I feel somewhat hungry I'd snack on some trail mix or fruits when I don't have trail mix.
I admire you muy mucho.. I have a really hard time eating in one day what you can eat in one meal.

You must have a rockin' metabolism!

Thanks, but it does take a little time to get up to that much. I think my stomach limit in one meal is 3 pounds... sometimes more if I'm in the mood for some all-you-can-eat place. hehe
mmmm trail mix... i need to buy some more of that...
heh, I like to make my own trail mix since some kind dump the salt on everything, even the chocolate... Which tastes very weird to me.
