Weight Loss/Breasts/Birth Control
My breasts grew directly as a result of being on birth control pills - I am looking to lose 10-15 lbs (already lost about 5 or so)... And I keep reading how women lose weight in their breasts first - but what about those of us on birth control pills? Does that still apply? (hope not!)
I lost 20 pounds and none of it came from my breasts—I was and still am a 32C—but I don't think that had anything to do with being on the pill (which I am on). I tend to gain weight first on, and lose it first from, my lower half. My upper half is always very small. So all that happened to me is that before I was a slight pear and now I am an hourglass.
I think everyone gains and loses weight pretty much according to what is coded in their genes. Some people lose it from the extremities first, some from the top half, some from the bottom, etc.
I suspect if birth control factors at all, it would just help you keep a little more on top than you otherwise would—if you are going to lose any weight from that region, anyway, and if as you say you grew larger as a result of the pill. I did not.
mine sure as hell didn't grow when i got on BC... but they just as surely DID disappear when i lost weight even though i'm still on them. i've lost a total of 60 pounds and went down two cup sizes = -( everyone is different so what happens/happened to me isn't definitely going to happen to you. you'll just have to wait and see.
A couple years my boobs grew due to gaining weight and starting birth control at the same time. I just lost about 25 pounds and I don't think an ounce of it came from my boobs as I am 6', weigh 140 and wear a 34D. I think it just depends on the person, but I definitely attribute them to the BC.
I've lost only 12 pounds (going for 50) and have lost 3.5 inches from my chest, but my cup size is still about a C. I have been doing plenty of upper body exercises with free weights to maintain the muscles in my chest.
I don't think being on the pill matters - it's what exercises you do and your genes.

Exercise can give you the illusion of having a larger chest. If that is what you are suggesting, I agree. But fat loss is not determined by what types of exercises you do. You could do 100 push-ups a day and still lose more weight from your bottom than from your arms or chest.
I do full-body workouts—weights and resistance training—and have for years, but my bra size has always been the same.
But as for the weight loss, even though I notice it in other places, so far I haven't noticed any shrinkage in the chest area. So I'm with you, hope it stays that way with more weight loss.....
