I was just wondering how you all meet people to be weight loss buddies on CC? I've had bad luck finding people who stick with it and man, I really need some support lately. Thanks!

I've found that the most support I've gotten is from my journal buddies. We all post fairly regularly and motivate eachother by commenting in eachother's journals. They are what keep me coming back. Feel free to add me! I've been with CC since 2006, and I'm not going anywhere!

I've been added as a friend and added people to my friends through forums we've talked in. And I'll have messages periodically from people on how we've both been doing.

Yep I've met some really awesome ppl here and without them, it would sure make this whole thing boring! 

Some ppl give up, or are just too busy to report often.  i'm thankful for the ones that report often and are around the forums a lot.  I love hearing how they are doing and the progress they are making....also fun to share new menu ideas and techniques.

So the reason I got on the forums this morning was to post and ask for a buddy who would stick with it and then I found your post! I have been in 2 different weight loss groups on here and people just aren't keeping up with the accountability. In fact, I haven't posted in 2 weeks because no one has posted since my last post. Why keep talking if no one is responding? I would LOVE and very much need some extra support. I got back on the calorie counting today after a couple of weeks off. I'll keep you accountable if you will keep me accountable.

I also had this same problem. Still do to an extent, but currently I have one CC buddy with whom I chat with on a daily basis thru private messages. Its rather motivating and a good way to do it. Anyways, since Im bored at work all day, if someone wants to do that, Im always game :)

I can't remember the groups I wanted to be a part of; that is, the initial query doesn't have anything to identify "us" as a group so I lose track. I strongly recommend naming the group you want to start--anything you want, and then post new threads (to keep discussions shorter so people don't have to go back or search for where the newest discussion begins in 2988 replies . . .)

See if that helps. Also, having a buddy or two to send messages two is nice!

surfing through the forums and connecting with people...journal buddies are really nice. I post every day (almost), and I'm online at work. Some days a lot some days not. It truly helps not to be alone.

I've developed a new love for biking!  I bought an awesome HUGE comfortable saddle seat and my tushy doesnt get sore at all!!!!  I go twice a day...once early in the a.m. and again in the later evening.  With the 90 degree + temps it's too hot to go any other time!

oh wow, you can do it, haley!  With that nice bike, I bet you will be cruising into the 150 mark and passing it by with a smile :)

I am adjusting my exercise schedule.  Going to take Mondays off from any exercise outside of normal daily activities and shift everything ove one day.  I am holding steady at 145+/- some water hoping to go in to 144 by the end of the week.  Wish me luck!
