Hello, I'm looking for others trying to lose a lot of weight, to keep each other motivated threw our bad days and cheer us on on our great days! to keep each other going threw out the week by staying in touch. I want people who want to reach there goal weight and wont quit tell we reach them! who's with me?!?!

I am 5'3 and weigh 217 pounds, my goal weight is 127lbs by May 30th of 209

Welcome back Pam I thought you were just taking it easy tell ya felt up to chatting again  other wise I would  of bug bug bugged ya ;)  Congrats on relosing the 13 pounds !!I've done that soooo many times, relose the weight I have just lost lol ugh! Well I'm so glad your back.

I have been looking through the forums and there seemed like a lot of women who were at 140 trying to lose 10-20 pounds and I thought maybe I was in the wrong place.  I was 226 when I started and I am only 5'4"  I gained 4 pounds the first week--I am not sure why but happily I have lost that and another 7. My goal is 130 but if I make it to 150 I will be very happy.  I know I still will be a size 14 when I weigh 150 but I don't mind having curves.  I just really want to be healthy.  My biggest motivator is that I am in my mid 20s and have off the charts high cholesterol.

Well I had my daughter's first B-Day party yesterday. We had a BBQ and bouncy hpuse. And it rained on and off all day. But the kids didn't mind they still jumped and had a good time. My daughter got tons of clothes for when it gets colder which is great. We had alot of fun. Didn't eat too much either so that's good.

I'm off to try one of those healthy choice cafe steamer I bought the creamy dill salmon one so I hope its good it only has 240 cal and it looks like a lot of food. Hope its yummo =)

Good Morning all newbies and oldies.  Wow this forum is so awsome I can not believe all of the encourgment from all of you wonderful people.  Okay gang I have a question what is malto meal? (do I sound stupid) I have never heard of this stuff. hahaha if it is good I want to try it. 

Well off to another barbeque at mother in laws house lots of fattening food, but I am going to eat before I go so wish me luck.

Last night went to my sorority wind up only had 1 glass of wine which I am very proud off and not really alot to eat lots of salad. had a lot of laughs.

I just want to say thank you all for being there.

The week of Teacher Work Days did me in.... I've gained a pound back.  :(  But, I have climbed back on the wagon, and am ready again to ride it to healthy living!!

Anna, I think Malto-Meal is a cereal.  Not sure though.

Thanks jessica I am going to look into it.  I just went on to the calorie counter and I can't believe it I ate almost all of my calories.  I am shocked I thought I was making good choices.  I have to get out of summer sizing mode and get into cal counting mode.  What a major difference.  wow!!!!!!!!! :{

Yeah, if we're not careful, we can eat more calories than we thought. That's why I go to the computer after I eat most every time, and sometimes when I am planning what to eat, so I ]know how much I can have, I check it out first.

My teacher workdays start tomorrow, jessicarm...  and I have a plan... I"m going to be "busy" during lunches....so that I can bring my own and eat healthy... and I"m ignoring the evil little shancks that they have for us!
