Hello, I'm looking for others trying to lose a lot of weight, to keep each other motivated threw our bad days and cheer us on on our great days! to keep each other going threw out the week by staying in touch. I want people who want to reach there goal weight and wont quit tell we reach them! who's with me?!?!

krismasself-How is your back doing? Better I hope. Is your daughter still there? Congratulations on the weight loss. I keep loosing 1 lb a week too but it is steady and I would rather lose than gain. It seems it can go up so-o-o-o fast and go down so-o-o-o- slow-w-w-w-w!

Good evening all,
Had a lovey day with my 2 girls, doing winery tour, shopping and lunch in nearby Niagara, Canada. Maybe my daughter will share her photos so I can post one here. I tried to log in what we ate,as best I could, and it seems I stayed within my limit OK.
My back is better, Lora, though it's never really good. Even when I was down to 150 yrs ago, it wasn't. I have an anomally of the spine which causes muscles to go askqew sometimes. But stretching and heat, along with some Motrin, keeps it manageable.
Sorry to hear your not doing well today Pam. Hope resting will help give you some relief.

I lost a total of 16.5 pounds in August. Either I'm doing something really right, my body is really rejecting the fat or I don't have a clue. It just seems like it's coming off too fast.
Oh well.. I'll take what I can. =) This week has gone by really fast and I'm glad. A friend of mine is coming in this weekend to go to the Portugese feshta (festival) with her family and her boyfriend is bringing his family up to meet her family. What she doesn't know, is that he's going to propose on Saturday at the Feshta and I'm excited because I get to be there!!!!
And I'm excited because she lives in Philly and I don't get to see her that often. =( This weekend is going to be good. School starts on Wednesday and I'm meal planning on Sunday. Wish me luck!

Rebpi n Kraka I also just started the MAP thingy too today its the 2nd or 3rd weigh-in thing I have been doing, it helps to keep me on the right path.
I am going to the fair one last time tomorrow with my Mom , Sis, Aunt and Cousin it should be a blast and I look forward to the fair being over! too many temptations lol and we also have friends from out of state coming to visit this weekend so it will be a buzy one =)

That's awesome that you lost so much, Congrats. I am hoping to get down to 205 by the 1st of Oct. I am in the Coast guard and we have to weigh in every 6 months to make sure we are maintaining our weight. I will have the entire month of October to weigh in and I only have 6lbs to lose before I reach my max alloted weight. I am at 216.2 this morning. As far as my time line goes, I need to be @ 215.0-.9 by 2mrw morning.
I kind of got off my meal schedule yesterday because I was running around and ate at like 8p. I should have just had something light, but I was hungry. So I ate a peanut butter rice cake(60cal) and some Campbell's rigatoni and meatballs(440c). That put me over my alloted Calories by 50. I am not worried about that. It was just so late.
Another problem I am going to have is today I am going to my sister's house in Lexington, KY. We are going to a fair, bowling, a concert. It is going to be tuff for me. As I stated in another post, I love beer. Every place that we are going to be going is going to have it. Not to mention @ the fair, all the food smells in the air and the bowling alley with the nachos and burgers. OH man it is going to be harsh. I will be runnning around alot so I won't be able to just use a microwve and heat up my soups. On top of all that my cousin is coming up from North Carolina, so we will all be in the house.
I am now going to face the fair challenge aswell Sarahrip. Congrats on getting under the 200 mark. It's tuff to do.
Kraka: 11 pounds is a doable number, especially if you have almost the whole month of October to keep losing!!

I've joined the MAP challenge for Sept also. Lost 19 lbs in August, but will be overjoyed to get 10 lbs down next month, as I know the first month is the easiest...water loss, high enthusiasm, no binges!
Slept late this AM so no walk yet, nor have I had a chance to log my food for today because I've busy in the office.
This weekend will be a challenge, but I will trust in the Lord to guide me. Family events always include food, don't they? Maybe I can get the grandkids to take me for a walk in the woods...that'd be great exercise!!

THEY LOST ME! I went to post my weigh in and I am not there. I guess that mean I wasted away right? I don't have to diet anymore right? Not that I lost anything this week. But I didn't gain anything either.

I am also 5'3" and weigh 220. I could really use some motivation. I know that it takes self determination but that isn't always easy. this time I just know that it is different as I want to do it for myself and will keep going until I make it. I hope that we can do it together.
