Hello, I'm looking for others trying to lose a lot of weight, to keep each other motivated threw our bad days and cheer us on on our great days! to keep each other going threw out the week by staying in touch. I want people who want to reach there goal weight and wont quit tell we reach them! who's with me?!?!

I am proud of myself. The first day of school someone gave me a piece of Coffee cake. I thanked them and told them how yummy it looked. After they left I threw it in the trash. ![]()

My good doobie act of the day was this:
Fridays I always get fast food for me and my son. I have always avoided the double quarter pounders and large fries and all that, but today I took it an extra step and ONLY got the grilled chicken sandwich with ONLY a fruit and yogurt parfait. No french fries, no dessert, and no soda. Less than 600 calories total!

I am looking for suggestions on make ahead meals or menus. I really need to plan ahead I guess. I should plan meals for the week. When I come home I just want to grab anything that is in sight and go on a munching spree. I normally cook on the weekend and then we have stuff in the fridge. So if anyone has any ideas throw them out here.
Humorpam- I tried the black beans in salad and I have to admit it was really good. Go figure.
Rebepi -did you ask your boyfriend for that salsa recipe? How are you doing? Did you get over that yo-yoing?

Lora Great Job on throwing out the cake, now thats is will power! thank you for asking about me =) I did well getting back on track and walking but stayed the same with the weight this week and then had a really bad day yesterday, but I'm back on track today and doing well. I got up early this morning and went for a 2 mile walk, it was so nice out. We live right by a county park reserve and I seen 3 deer walk right by me and a wood pecker up in a tree busying himself pecking a tree and eating to his delight =) it was so great to get out in the cool morning air =) I will do good today and the rest of the week and look forward to Fridays weigh in. Have a great weekend everyone!

Does anyone ever eat the 100 cal. dark choc. bars. I found some at walgreens for 87 cents. It was regular 2.29 so I figured I would try them. I try not to eat candy but sometimes I get a craving for chocolate.
Afternoon all!! Ive been busy this morning. Spent the morning making homemade bread (not using a bread machine...doin it the old fashioned way). Then I took the dogs on a mile walk. I usually do 2 miles but wasnt in the mood today.
I tossed out my scale so I dont know if I have lost any pounds. (Long explanation in my journal)
Im going to be helping the hubby tomorrow dig a trench in our yard for some project he is doing. Going to burn tons of calories!!!! Yes!!
Tina, I eat Dark Chocolate. I get the Hershey's individually wrapped squares of extra dark Pure Espresso Dark Chocolate. The are 1 inch squares, individually wrapped. A serving size is 4 squares, but I only eat one at a time, because, being individually wrapped, I don't feel the need to eat more, just cause it's there. One is really enough for me at a time. Dark Chocolate is a very good food for you to have in small amounts. It has lots of antioxidants.
I am glad to report that I lost 4 pounds this week, bringing my total weight loss to 41 pounds, with 178 more to go.
trapp32 when I have a craving for chocolate I have some chocolate milk. its about 193 calories for 1 cup, but it satisfies the cravings and soothes the soul!

I just took my bread out of the oven and I think my yeast was old cuz it was almost flat. Oh well tastes good still.
Im making black bean soup tonight and the bread will go good with it. YUM
AUGH. My brother bought pizza today. It was a medium and I only had four pieces (a vast improvement over my previous pizza habits) but I still feel horribly guilty. Okay, just water, fruits, and salad the rest of the day. That oughta make up for it, right?
