Humorpam sorry  to hear about the 19 pounds. I know what you mean I am having real trouble keeping motivated. I guess it is the holidays.

How was everyone's Thanksgiving? I found out at the last minute that I did not have to cook. Which was good but I wish I wouldn't had bought all the stuff before I found out. Other than that it was pretty good. I ate way too much but it is OK there is always time to start over.

Pam,

We all know how that feels, and we are here to support and encourage you! Remeber, just take it one day at a time, slow and steady wins the race!

Sue

Hey guys this is Tina (Trapp32) I tried to switch to calorie count plus but they said my email was alredy in use. In August I guess I signed up for it and forgot. So now I am trytobehealthy  which is for the better because trapp was my maiden name anyways.

Pam, Don't worry about it. Your back on track now and thats what counts!

Glad your back Tina, I had the same trouble and just emailed them about it and they fixed it so that I can log into both with the same info so it made it much easier.

Well, I'm doing really well this week, I'm back to where I was on Nov 16th at 186 as of this morning so I'm relieved. I was so worried I didn't want to get back into my ugly routine of eating without thinking like I did a month ago so the last two days I have been writing everything down I eat to keep my calories down. I just hope I can keep this up.

Have a great day everyone! eat well and move!

PS for a good laugh see my todays journal

Sara- That was too funny!

Hope everyone has a good day!

Counting down only 3 more days until I get to go out of town with my hubsand to Shreveport.

Wasn't it! I laughed so hard I cried and my stomach hurt from laughing sooo hard! I got it from a friend of mine that is also up and down with her weight.I can always use a good laugh.
I was in the 200+ club two years ago.  I am now 157 and in the best shape of my life.  It can be done guys, Keep it up!

I like this little acronym. Please remember it when someone asks, "how are you?"

F.I.N.E.
[I'm] Frustrated, Insecure, Neurotic, Emotional

Yes! that is a great way to reply!Cool
Just poppin' in to see how everyone's doing. I've been losing still, just a lot slower. About a pound a week recently. I'm not complaining though as long as the scale keeps moving in the downward direction. =)

My goal is to be under 200 pounds by christmas. (I'm at 203.5 right now).

So, what has everyone else been up to?

Good to see you, rebecca,

A pound a week is wonderful progress!! You'll surely make that goal in time for Santa to slide downyour chimney!!

November wasn't a good month for me, but I seem to be getting back on track quite well, thanks to the support and encouragemnt around here!!

Well I went to the doctor yesterday and I have High Blood Pressure that really sucks. Now I realize that I really need to stick to this diet. I went ahead and joined a gym yesterday. I also paid for 5 training sessions. I figured I am worth it I always think of evryone else and not myself.

Hope everyone has a good day!

Hey rebepi, congrats on all that weight loss! Unbelievable that you've done so much so quickly!

I would love to see a new picture of how you look around 200 as compared with 270. The difference must be incredible.

shoeofkuribo:  Thanks for the really nice comments on my journal. I really appreciate any feedback I get. =) I'd actually like to see that picture too haha. I'm really going to have to go through my photos to see if I can find a before picture. I've been avoiding cameras for years, but someone must have gotten me in a picture at some point in time right?

If I can find before pictures, I'll take an after or "now" picture so everyone can see, (especially ME!) how far I've come. Because honestly, I just can't see it. =(
Hi everybody! Thanks for your encouraging words. I have stayed with my program now for...let's see... today is the 3rd day. I am proud of myself. Let's put it this way - I haven't eaten anything that is not approved by this program I am on. I, on the other hand, have not eaten enough of what they tell me I should be eating, though. I need to increase my veggies a whole bunch. Everything else, I am doing great with. So I am proud of myself. I do hope to see some weight loss results, but I know I need to be patient. I would like to say this: If you drink Diet Coke, I highly recommend that you stop. I stopped back in the beginning of my program, back in May, and I thought I could tell a big difference, but I wasn't sure if I could credit it to not drinking Diet Coke or not. So, the other day, I quit drinking diet coke again, and the heart palpitations I was starting to have again after resuming diet coke, disappeared again. So, either no Diet Coke for me anymore, or very little of it. I think I would be wise to leave it alone altogether. I haven't had but one sip since the other day when I started back on this program, on the 27th of November.

Tina, I am glad you let us know that you were Trapp, because I thought at first you were a newbie.

Sue - how's your sinuses? Any better? I want you to know that you are a real blessing.

Sarah - I enjoyed your story in your journal. That was quite funny! I may re-think the possibility of hiring a personal trainer. LOL

Rebecca - Congratulations on your continued weight loss. That is awesome. You must be doing something right. Would you care to share what that strategy is?

Pam-Congrats on getting on the program again. I know as well as anybody how hard it is to restart. I have heard that before about the Diet Coke I don't remember where but I know I heard it. I don't drink Diet Coke that much thank goodness because I know it can be addictive.
Tina, I haven't really had any trouble stopping it this time, and I attribute that to the green tea. If I felt like a withdrawal headache was coming on, I drank a glass of green tea. That stopped it. Any other time I would try to stop, I had massive headaches for days, and even a couple weeks.
Hey Pam its great to see you on here. I'm glad your enjoyed my last journal entry Cool
Yeah, I really did. It was great!
