Hello, I'm looking for others trying to lose a lot of weight, to keep each other motivated threw our bad days and cheer us on on our great days! to keep each other going threw out the week by staying in touch. I want people who want to reach there goal weight and wont quit tell we reach them! who's with me?!?!

I dreamed last night that I was at a hotel with my husband and I went outside and got lost. I couldn't find my way back. I suppose that means something but to me it was just strange.
We use to come up to Canada once a year to a Boy Scout Jamboree called CA-AM but haven't gone in a couple years. I don't remember off hand where it was.

I didn't do well at all this week. I gained 2 lbs because I was eating all kinds of junk. I am doing better on my exercise though.

I am sooo sore from my "Muscle Max" workout at the gym on Thursday. I don't think I drank enough water that day to stave off the soreness. Someone told me that I should have extra protein on the day you work your muscles hard...Has anyone else heard of this?

I was doing really well when I started but now, I seem to have fallen off the wagon and I am having a little trouble getting back on. I just got done with my 35 min workout and it wore me out but I feel great and happy that I did it cuz I was really bad this weekend, we went out to red lobster and I ate too much but the lobster and crab legs were oh sooo good!! and thankfully I didnt gain from it. so today is a new day to start over once again! lol
So how is everyone doing with there weight lose for the month of Jan? I have only lost some of what I gain over christmas,not a good month for me, so I hope February will be a better month.

Even with -34 windchill the schools are still open in our county!(many farther north are not) the kids are sure bumbed! lol

OK, I admit...I'm getting nervous....
Not about the wedding, as I know everything is set and planned out. But about the Honeymoon! A whole month!!! Yikes, we've had trouble making it thru a week on a 24/7 basis, I'm very uneasy about 28 days! And though I like to think I love being spontaneous, I am not at ease without a planned route and reservations along the way. And our different eating schedules...arghh!
And my dis-ease is beginning to show in my eating...twice this week I've eaten a candy bar...and hadn't had chocolate in 2 years!Last night I called him as I knew he'd be driving home from a meeting and asked to have ice cream brought home. He obliged, then we laughed about what I'd be like if pregnant! Heaven forbid!
Sue,Try not to worry so much, just take it one day at a time. I'm sure you will have a great time and will do great. Enjoy yourself!!
I worked out so good yesterday my legs are killing me again and I was up 5x with my 2 yr old last night and soo do not want to workout today nor do I have the energy too, But I will try to do something not to hard. What I want to do is crawl back in bed and go to sleep but my 2 yr old has other plans for me

I am depressed today, I weighed in and haven't lost one pound. I have been working out, watching what I eat closely, and have been eating well. I don't understand what has happened and I don't know what to do about it.
I worked out today on the elliptical for 25 minutes, the lady in the kids' room said I should do cardio for 45 minutes, but that seems like a lot to me - Im trying to take babysteps.
End of the month results aren't pretty and I won't beat myself up over it, I know where I could have done better. I'm 5 pounds lighter. Better than 5 pounds heavier. My attempts at Turbo Jam have been successful, as I'm keeping up with the DVD and its actually becoming fun
. My jeans are looser and need to be taken in. I even fit into a pair of size 18s as of 2 weeks ago.
This is a slow road with setbacks but trudging along, I think (I hope) I'll look halfway decent by the time my wedding rolls around (June).
Sue, am I to understand your honeymoon is a whole month?

Welllll I did get up and move today. Not the hardest workout but it was better then no workout and I did feel more awake afterwards and not as sore but I know that will change, tonight I will be paying for it. Oh well no pain no gain right?!
Rain, I am right here with ya! I have been doing good all this week with eating and working out and the scale has yet to move!!!! I have been drinking a lot more water so I'm guessing its that and ttom should be coming soon. UGH!! Will I ever meet my goal?! Seems so far off on weeks like this. But I wont give up I WILL reach my goal no matter what!!!!
