Hi everyone.. I would like to know. How much weight have you lost so far this year???? And! Do you have more weight to lose?

Started my diet in 2007, and I lost 48 pounds..
Started CC again in 2008, and I lost 31 pounds.
Changed my goal weight 3 times since joining CC, and now I have.. 16 more to go..

If I would have stayed with the first goal weight.. I would be 1 pound away from my goal, and I've seen my goal weight twice this month.. Looking forward to losing the rest of my weight, and staying on CC to motivate and maintain.

2009 plans are to polish-up and get to the maintaining part.

I started eating healthier in fall of 2007 but only lost about 10 pounds by Christmas.  After new years i started officially dieting and since last year I have lost just about 65 pounds.  I'm 19 and 5'6" and i started out at 193 and am currently 129.  My goal is 125.  I know that I've come a long way but im finding it really hard to change the way I eat because I'm afraid that by allowing myself to eat more and switch over to maintaining i will gain the weight back.  If anyone has any tips or advice... that'd be great.

The first time I started was in September of 2007 at 159. That was mostly exercising and not really watching what I ate. When I really started using CC was in September of 2008 at 140. Now, currently I am 127 and I have 2  pounds to my original goal. But I really want to go ahead and lose another 12 pounds before I begin my maintenance. So, the total lost so far since September of 2007 is 32 pounds!!! Woo hoo. Eating those cookies for dessert doesn't make me feel as bad now that I posted this.

My aunt lost a lot of weight, and what she did was.. She zig zag some during your maintenance.. So I guess zig zagging your calories can help some.. The person I would ask is.. Gi Jane, she really godd at this stuff..

i started my weight loss in january of 2008 at 277 pounds and I'm currently at 193.6 for a total loss of 83.4 pounds!! I'm at my lowest weight in 12 years!!! Its been a learning process for me but one that i've enjoyed. my entire family eats healthier now! I'm coming up on my one year date and i'm hoping to have lost 90 pounds by then. I cant wait to see what the next year brings with weight loss. Every month is something new and exciting even with all the hard work!

41 lbs since the beginning of August (I have to lose 35lbs more to reach my goal weight)

I have lost 38lbs since August2008.  My first goal is to get below 200lbs.  That's 15lbs away.  After that 170lbs.  I just have to keep remembering that it's a journey and I have to take one day at a time.  I didn't gain this weight over night and it will not come off overnight.

I started in mid January 2008 and have lost 77 lbs since then.  My goal is still 3 lbs away.  I can accomplish that in early 2009 and then try to maintain.  THAT is going to be the hard part!

WOW! Keep up the great work everyone..

This year I have lost a total of 22 pounds, but I did have a weight gain of 17 in the middle, and so have had to lose all of that plus.  So, since March 2006, I have lost a grand total of 92 lbs, and will keep on fighting into 2009 to lose the last 30 or so.

Wish me luck! These plateaus are painful!
