Weight loss help

Quote  |  Reply

Hi!

I am 5'11" and 160lbs. I want to get down to 150lbs. I eat healthy (mostly fruit and vegetables) I exercise over 60 min a day on a regular basis and I change my workouts around so that I can avoid a "plateau". However, I am still not losing weight. What is going on?

anyone?

Do you have a calorie goal for your day?  You need healthy fats and protein in order to build muscle from that exercise and keep your metabolism going.

I think that my goal is 2700 cals and I typically come under that. Anyways this is my percentage analysis,

Fat - 10.2% (17 grams)
Protein - 15.0% (55 grams)
Carbohydrates - 74.8% (274 grams)
Alcohol - 0.0%
Other - 0.0%

Often, this is quoted as the "golden ratio"

40-50% Carbs, 25-35% protein, 20-30% fat

Of course, people have different opinions about it.  2700 seems a little high.  How many cals does CC tell you that you are burning in your day?

It says I am burning 4420

that's not right.  you should set your activity level to light and THEN log your workouts.  Or else it's essentially counting that activity twice.

all right, but according to that im not light but medium but if I set it to light Im burning 3840 ca after my workouts 4120 after workout at medium

Try and up your protein in take and slightly lower your carb in take

And 150 puts your BMI where?  I'm 5'11" small frame.  159 is my low according to the charts.  Why 150?  I'm 173 pushing for 165 but thats the bottom for my taste.  Think about it.
