My weight loss, motivation for some I hope! :-)

Hey Everyone!

Calorie count is really starting to piss me off.. Says I have "Errors" in my messeges, so this is my 3rd time trying to post this!! GRR! lol

I've been a member for awhile, but really never got "into" the fourms, so I thought I would JUMP RIGHT IN!

I wanted to share my weight loss story with you guys and hope that it motivates and inspires some of you to keep on "truckin" hehe

I'm a 21 year old 6'4 female (yes, extreamly tall) and all throughout my life... I was fat. I was never called cute, hot or sexy, but was told throughout my life that if I just lost weight I would be so "darn cute"

So on Aug.12/04 I decided I was going to loose weight.  I joined weight watchers to help me (I remained a member for 6 months, until I felt comfortable with loosing on my own) Here are some photos of me from that FIRST day of my "Lifestyle change"

Start Weight: 325 lbs

Last weekend (Oct. 27/06) a friend and I went to Las Vegas, here are some photos from our trip. I'm in the white shirt!

End Weight: 170 lbs

Total weight loss 155 lbs

I went for my yearly physcial 2 weeks ago (Oh ladies aren't they fun?!) and he told me he would like me to put on 5 pounds of fat. So with that 5 pounds I plan to put on over the next 2 months my total loss will be 150lbs.

If you have any questions you want to ask or really anything at all I would love to hear from you. I know for me seeing others success kept me motivated and I hope to do the same for some of you!

Oh my word, that is amazing.

Congratulations on your amazing success! :-)
I'm a bit awe-struck to really ask anything at the moment, but you're definitely the person I'm gonna message if I come across a particular trouble.

Hm, I've never done the tagging thing before, but I've gotta now, to be able to come back to this when I'm wondering if all this is possible. You are the living proof it is! Congratulations!

^______^

P.S. The first time I read through this, I missed that you were six four. So when I saw the picture I thought, 'There is no way she is 170.' Cause I'm at 172 now and I don't look nearly as good. ..But I'm 5'5. >.<
You look great! Congratulations .... and yes it is very inspiring!
Wow Angel, color me a deep shade of green!  At a mere 5' tall all my life people told me I was "cute" and I dreamed of the day when I'd add enough inches in height to be "beautiful".

At 59, I'm no longer physically attractive and that's fine with me but I'd still like to have those inches because they'd mean I could eat more calories daily and still lose weight!

You are truly beautiful inside and out and I hope a year from now I can post a success story like yours!  Congrats to you.   I admire your determination and am truly inspired by your success!
Hi Angel,

Congratulations! What a great success! I am fairly new here myself and I have a question:

How did you do it?!

Did you do it all through nutrition? Did you include any exercise programs? How long did it take?

I am 5'8", and I have 100-120 pounds to lose. Your success is a great motivation!
Wow! What an incredible story. Thank you so much for sharing that.

i would really like to talk to you but is there a way of doing it without the wrest of the world seeing it,no offence to anyone else, just like to do thing more privatly lol.

thanks.
Holy smokes, you look amazing!

Congratulations!
You look amazing! I'm awestruck!!! I'm looking to lose 20 lbs to get into the middle of my ideal BMI range instead of the borderline overweight range (when I started I was 155 lbs. at 5'6" and my goal weight is 135). This story will remind me that if a dedicated young lady such as yourself can succeed in losing as much weight as you have, I can certainly manage 20 lbs. if I can just stay focused! Thank you so much for posting your success story! Good luck in staying fit and healthy!!! : )
Great pics Angel, and great story!  You look so happy and comfortable in the after pics, thank you for sharing your story for others.  :)  And major congrats on your journey!!!!
OMG!!!  WOW!!!

If you want to ask me anything, I have a myspace http://www.myspace.com/sixfoot4melissa you can add me and talk to me on there privately if you dont want others to see! haha **warning some of the photos of me are older so I look a wee bit out of shape in some of them!**

Wow!  That is amazing.  I'm not nearly as tall as you but looking at your before pictures, it looks like we "were" about the same frame, if that makes sense.  We put on weight in the same places.  You are an inspiration for me.
You look amazing and SOOOO proud,  so should you be.
Hun, you look fab. Be proud, we are xxxxxx

Why can't I reduce 20 lb when you can cut down 150?

Thanks for sharing the info.

(Oh and btw, you were cute in the beginning :D). Wow. I still can't believe that.. are you sure those pictures are the same person? You seriously worked your butt off. Well dammit girl, CONGRATS! :D
