Weight loss motivation! Lose 15 pounds by the Fourth of July, 2008!!!

Inspired by Pompay's challenge last year, I decided to do this to motivate myself as well as others. There's two months left until Independence day, so lets claim our independence of this extra weight. Who's with me??? Okay, so just state your current height, weight, and how much you would like to weigh by the Fourth of July. Any motivation words will be great! Good luck everybody!
Okay, me first!
Height: 5'2"
Weight 134.5 lbs
Want to weigh by Fourth of July: 119.5
Ultimate Goal before birthday (July 22) 115
Let's see what happens!
Motivation:

Hi everyone!

I hope you all survived the weekendSmile

I weighed in yesterday and was still 177 so I am happy as a clam!  After a week away from a computer and no gym I was forced to try it "alone."  I did well - I was just happy to have not gained anything while on vacation.  I had my first cheeseburger since December...It was amazing!

Keep up the great work ladies - let's see fireworks with new skinny bodies!

Do we have to post our weights on specific dates like wednesdays, or once a week or everyday...?

I will weigh myself tonight before dinner (my fav time of the day) and will let you know tomorrow is it ok? I have good feelings about the results... Cool

glad to go below 160! Now I have to go below 70kg.

I did buy a bathing suit -- a tankini I loved.   Also a little skirt to go over --     I love it.   I will still be self-conscious, but I am okay with that.

Hello I just started, at the beginning of May.  I am a mother of three children the youngest is just about to turn 5.  No more excuses, and I m loving the way I feel eating things that actually work with my body rather than against it.

HT:  5'7''

AGE: 26

SW:  204

CW: 195

JULY GW: 180

GW: 140

 

 

Where did everyone go?!?! I know that Ashabdul checked in around 5/17 and had lost 4.5lbs. Where is everyone else at? Here are my updated stats:

Height: 5'6"

SW(at beginning of challenge): 139lbs.

CW: 133lbs

GW by Fourth of July: 123lbs

Ultimate GW: 115 - 120lbs

So far, I've lost 6lbs. since the beginning of this challenge (5/1).

 

Can everyone check in and let us know ur info as well? I really liked this challenge, and I don't want it to die. Also, let's go ahead and have a WEEKLY WEIGH-IN/update on WEDNESDAYS (is that okay with you Ashabdul? I don't want to step on any toes... but I know ur really busy, and you sounded really easy going - but, if I'm way out of line - it is your thread... just yell at me and tell me to quit being so bossy!)

Hi everyone!

If it is humanly possible, I have managed to pull a muscle in my upper thigh/groin area and one in my back from running.  I've been trying HIIT the past 3 runs and I loved it but I am in soooo much pain today that it is ridiculous!

My plan is to walk today and take it easy...

I am at 176 today - started this challenge at 180.  I've taken a vacation and attended far too many BBQ's this past weekend so I am pleasantly surprised with 176....but I REALLY want to be below 175 soon....like yesterday!

I'm off to have some yummy watermelon and ice waterSmile

seems like I underestimated my strength, I almost reached my goal: now I am 70.5 Kg = 155.42 poundsInnocent

Hey everybody!  I haven't been here for a while due to taking a summer school class.  I hope everybody's been well and keeping up with their weight loss goals.  I find that by being busy and not thinking about weight loss, I have been losing easily. 
Ok, my stats again!

Weight at start of challenge (April 30):  134.5 lbs
Weight today (June 22):  126
Want to weigh by Fourth of July: 119.5
Ultimate Goal before birthday (July 22): 115

I did it!  I am at 179.  My goal was 180 before the fourth.
