Has weight loss given you a pain in the butt?

Quote  |  Reply

I have lost about 30 kg and shifted  a lot of fat to muscle and now I have no padding on my butt to speak of and it is giving me a pain in the butt. All the time, when I drive and just sit in a chair. I never thought that would be a side effect of loosing weight. I still have a little belly to loose so I want to continue to loose some more weight. Anyone else have this problem, any ideas on how to deal with it?

Heh, I have noticed the same thing. Or if I am laying on my side with my knees together they'll feel like the bones are poking each other, and that's uncomfortable too. I haven't figured out any way to make it better, though. But you aren't alone.

I have that problem also, I started wearing sweat pants to sleep and sticking a pillow between my knees....

I haven't noticed this, but I also sleep face down...into the pillow.

I find my pelvic bones stick out though.

I had this problem a few months ago ...  I think after I'd lost about 50 pounds and redistributed a lot.  I could feel the bones every time I sat down & it was uncomfortable.  It lasted about a month and then I think I got used to it and it stopped bothering me.   I'd suggest you sit on a pillow or blanket when it really bothers you and give it some time.  Hope this helps.
