has anyone heard or tried EPH200?
I read an ad in a magazine that looked interesting. I don't want to try it until I can learn more about this magic pill. Please respond with any information.

ads for magical weight-loss pills are B.S. don't you think that if there REALLY was a magic pill, it'd be on CNN and Good Morning America, or at LEAST some crap like The View? dietandexcerise!
Sorry.....but without even being familiar with the medication....I can just about assure you that the the only true way of losing these fat pounds.....is by changing our life style of eating plus exercise....unless there is a medical problem....even then one would still have to add good eating habits and exercise..... : (
I agree with the comments above, but I also think that diet pills that boost energy and supress appetite can be really helpful. I'm taking an energy pill, and I love it. It gives me the energy I need to make it to the gym after a 16 hour day of school and work, and helps me make better decisions about my food choices instead of just piggy out on whatever is available because im starving/craving something
it also helps with the mental state. (like a placebo effect)
kinda like setting your watch a few minutes ahead to prevent from being late. (you know its fast yet your brain still tricks you when you look at the time)

I can't take diet pills. They have side effects on my system. I can't even take over the counter cold medicines as it gives me tachycardia. The only diet pills I ever tried did the same thing to me. Make my heart race, make me dizzy and sweaty and never seem to boost my energy at all, so I stear clear of them. I'm sure it depends on the person, but I think I'd check with my doctor on the safety of anything before I try it. And if you do try it, watch for any allergic reactions. If you have any reactions that make you feel odd or off then stop taking it! Some people have such severe allergic reactions to these things they've gotten heart attacks or strokes. So definately be careful. Just because it's available without a prescription does not make it safe.
With the letters EPH in the title, my first thought is ephedra, which has been proven to be VERY dangerous! Diet pills are an iffy way to lose weight, unless you're also watching your calories and exercising. If you feel you need a supplement to keep up your energy and suppress your appetite talk to your doctor or a dietician.
Don't believe these miracle ads, I don't know how they get away with being so deceptive! Don't risk your overall health to get the scale to say what you want it to. Slow and sure is the way to go, even though it tests your patience like crazy sometimes!
Have a great day everyone!

suzi-they get away with it the same way advertisers get away with everything: that teen tiny little asterik with even teenier tinier writing at the bottom of the page that says 'results not typical'.
You're right, chocorific. We need to stay away from stuff like this and stick with what we know works--hard work!
Thanks for all your feedback, some more positive than others.
Babydeer, If I may ask what diet pills have you've tried that work well? Also has anyone tried Hoodia? What are your thoughts on that. All comments appreciated.

I am on phendimetrazine 35mg 2 at 8am and 2 at 3pm also ditex w/chromium with the help of a docter and I have lost 20 lbs since Feb 2006.
Hi Felicia, it that over the counter pills or doctots perscriptions? That's excellent news for you. Keep up the great work.
perscription, but There great and worth the money!
I also hate when people try to preach and and like your committing this horrible sin when taking weight loss pill. You have to do what works for you.
I have been taking Leptopril which actually has been working pretty well. It doesnt make me feel jittery and it doesnt wipe out my appeitite completey, I still get hungry but I dont eat as much when I do. I like it and it seams to be working so far. 10lbs in 2weeks!
Hey 1michelle1! Some diet pills can be helpful to some people, sure! Unfortunately, you may get some side effects along with the benefits. You may want to consider getting a physical and asking your doctor what he/she recommends before trying over-the-counter stuff.
Suzigirl's right, sounds like it could contain ephedra which might increase your risk of high blood pressure and stroke. Did you know the FDA doesn't regulate sales of "supplements"? So manufacturers can claim all kinds of great results from "all natural" ingredients. But lots of "all natural" stuff is known to be unsafe. Take cocaine for example...
I'm sure you wouldn't want to risk your health or waste your money, so do more research or check with a doc about this EPH200. Then let us know what you find out! Good luck!

Im taking a pill called "Tight! Lipolytic Edge". I take one a day in the morning with breakfast, or after school @ lunch.
A few side effects Ive noticed (besides increased energy, happiness and weight loss) is SWEAT! Even the smallest cardio or weight lifting will make me sweat. My nutritionalist claims its because it increases my internal heat (he made it sound better than that) and it was burning calories faster than normal.
I really like it, so weird side-effects or nausea and it doesnt bother my gall-bladder (well lack of a gall bladder!)

The only pill I take is Mega-T, which is mostly green tea extract. I also drink green tea. It helps clense the body and lose weight.
