weight loss pills?

Quote  |  Reply

I was wondering if anyone has had any experience with any weight loss pills.  I have started taking "zip fiz with Hoodia".  I like the energy it gives me, and the Hoodia seems to cut my appatite, but I was wondering if it really helps the pounds come off.

Ive never heard of what your taking... I take Phentrimine - its doctor prescribed - It is to help "obese" mantain better eating habits - I am not obese (im 5"4 @ 145lbs) but that is the technical usage of it - It curves my appetite and gives a ton of energy - Ive lost 13lbs in 3 weeks

I tried a weight loss pill with Hoodia and it didn't do anything but maybe a little speedy from caffeine. I then read that this Hoodia market is a bunch of bull. The amount you really need for it to curb appetite is nowhere near the amount in these pills. Sorry.

Phentrimine? Mine is called Phentramine and I saw the generic for Adderall (weight loss prescription) is Phentermine. Do I have this correct?

lol - however its spelled - I dunno - sorry

I dont know that Adderall is the same - The doctor who prescribed made it VERY clear that when i went to get the script filled NOT to take the generic - She emphasized this BIG TIME!

Oh don't apologize, no biggie. I just noticed that there are all sorts on the web,

Phentermine

Phentramine

Phentrimine

I was just wondering the difference. So, yours really works? You just asked the dr. for a diet pill and she prescribed this? I am 5'3 and about 127 pounds. I used to be 110 in college! I was always tiny until I blew up a couple of years after I got married. I got up to 135 and then had a baby. So, I want to lose about 10 more but I am soooo stuck. I have tried everything!

Well the place I went to is strictly a diet place, nutrionist, whatever you call them - they ONLY prescribe fat burners and phentrimine (sp) - The place is called Mediplan (look it up see if they have one or something similar around you) But yes they  have worked GREAt for me - I just had a baby 4 months ago and Im DYING to get this flab fat crap OFF and its coming off defintely

Out of curiousity, have any of you guys taken the diet pills, stopped, and kept the weight off? Or are these medications a long-term thing?

well like i said before - you have to do some work also and thats maintaining a better diet - the weight will triple back if you dont

Great, thank you so much! Congrats on the new baby and good luck!

For sauvignon:

I took NV diet pills for three months along with diet and excersize and ended up loosing 12 pounds in a little over a month (133 to 122 at 5'7'').

Once the holidays rolled around I stopped taking them and didn't follow my diet as regularly just because it was the holidays so that might have had something to do with it but I went up from 122 to 127 when I stopped taking them.  So for me some of the weight did come off and stay off.  I'm working my way back down to 120 now.

However, the jitteryness and lack of sleep I would get along with chest pains from the pills are a big downside.  I'm just going the all natural way now because I was sick of dealing with the side effects.

Just a huge heads up about anyone trying Fucothin!

Oh my God, did I have a serious reaction to it!  I took it for 3 weeks, and then developed a terrible salty taste in my mouth, which I could not get rid of. I usually drink 50 ounces of water at the gym and then hopefully a little more later throughout the day.

Well, this stuff is POISON with a capital P!  I wound up going to the hospital twice this week, I was up to drinking 4 50 ounce containers of water a day and constantly going to the bathroom.  I got dizzzy, my hands swelled sooo much that I could not wear my wedding rings, it was awful awful, I was went to a health food store, they gave me a diuretic, didn't help, I called up the company, they didn't help either

'

It is loaded with seaweed and iodine and god knows what else,  Beware of this product.

Finally today I do not taste the salt.  I have to go back to the hospital on Monday for more tests

I am bloated and gained 7 pounds and couldn't eat a thing, all due to this stuff

awful, awful

Be very very very careful!

Ok, that's it, I  am on the mend now, but I"m telling you everything swelled for a girl who values her appearance, that was not pretty!

if ur not susaptible to high blood pressure go for lipo-6 ,i cut down to 6% body fat its a **** great pill, but its potent and it pack quite a punch.

so watch out in case u decided to take it
I use Alli, and I have lost almost 10 pounds in a month.  Alot of people are freaked about the so called "treatment effects" ie oily gas etc.  i haven't had any problems, even when eating pizza.  I have tried every diet pill out there, including hoodia.  Hoodia helped curb my appetite, but I only lost a pound or 2.  I am so close to my goal weight, that it's really hard to do it on my own.  So I will use Alli until I lose 5-10 more pounds.
I highly recommend Stacker 3. It is what I see as the best product out there. Only take it with large-ish meals though, because it will make you jittery.

I also tried Alli and loved it because it does not have any affect on your central nervous system. You don't get any jittery, sweaty, mind racing side effects. I also did not have any "treatment effects" but I made sure I followed a cleaner diet plan. I've tried other diet pills and always had a bad experience because of the jittery feeling. The way I see it, there is no pill that is going to help you lose weight more than good old "diet and exercise" (although I wish there was... LOL)!
Im using SlimQuick Exreme and I love it. 15lbs in 2 weeks lost not only due to those pills also bc Ive gotten off my hormone pills, but it gives u a great amount of energy.
