weight loss pills

Quote  |  Reply
Hello everybody! My name is Jenn and I am new to this forum. Unfortunately I am overweight - I weigh 265lbs....definitely too much! Unfortunately don't have much time to do any kind of sports and that is why I decided to try the weight loss pill kioslim. Does anybody have any experience with that pill?

Kioslim ingredient list - translated from chemical syntax into regular language: caffeine, citric acid, green tea, spirulina extract. Also contains the herbs Coleus Foskholii (forsaLean) and Hoodia gordonii.

In other words, coffee, lemon, green tea, some algae and assorted weeds. Forskolin has exactly one unreleased preliminary study backing it, by the company that sells ForsaLean, but in vitro studies of the activation mechanism shows that it's an indiscriminate metabolic activator and may be harmful for the user, causing free-radical-like oxidative damage to your cellular metabolism. Humans are tough, and we can take a lot of punishment, but I'm having my doubts about that one.

Hoodia is a known apetite suppressant, but apetite suppressants aren't very good for you long term.

Meh. Your choice, but I'd rather just go do green tea which at least has some actual science to back it up.
The best way to use diet pills is thus.....

1.  Open lid of bottle.....

2.  Scatter pills on floor....

3.  Bend down and pick up pill....

4.  Return pill to bottle....

5.  Repeat 3. and 4. until bottle is full

The only pills that genuinely affect weight are ones that are prescribed by a doctor.  And even those have only a limited effect.  Eat real food, watch the portions, do exercise.

I think you are way off on this.  Not all diet pills are the same.  Satiety control is a large part of the battle to help in weight management.   Several supplements help balance blood sugar levels, balance hormones and reduce appetite.  These supplements can assist dieters in managing their ability to eat real food and watch portions.

Thank you for all the information, I think I will give it a try for just one month, but I am gonna watch what I eat of course, and start exercising, and then after a month I should be able to do it on my own.  I have also checked out alot of different pills, and I am sure that this is the right choice, at least I hope so.

I am glad that you have checked out a lot of different pills. This is really important before making a decision. But it seems like you have finally made your decision, haven't you? So you said that wanted to order a package of kioslim. But if something seems to be wrong you should stop at once. It might be possible that people react differently to the product. Good luck!

Hi.. I am new to this forum and have tried many different diet pills.  I am currently taking phentermine (Dr. prescribed.)  I am doing great on it.  Eating well and exercising everyday.  For some people it's not an easy way out or the fact that they are lazy... some are food addicts and diet pills are the only way to suppress their hunger...There are many weight loss clinic.. just google or look them up in your phone book for your area.

I've also heard Redusyn is good.  I'd be glad to answer any questions anyone has Wink

Thank you very much for your positive answer to diet pills, so many folks out there think it is terrible that I want to take a diet pill, some people just can't get going, some have will power of iron and can do a diet like a breeze, well I can't. Of course it is not the best choice, but it is they best one for me, and this time I am going to win the war.

Eesh, we use forskolin in the lab. I wouldn't be ingesting that if I were you or anything without a doctor's supervision, but that's just me.

Please trust me, coming from someone who NEVER, EVER thought they would be able to lose weight - Calorie Count works. With a little hard work and time invested into learning about healthy living one CAN LOSE weight without diet pills. One thing I learned using Calorie Count is that I CAN eat more than I had been before on any other diet and if you eat healthfully trust me you will be stuffed at the end of the day. Just try it, and see what happens.

Yes many people take diet pills and should not be looked down on b/c of it.  If that's the way some choose to lose weight than let it be.  It has been great for me!
Can I give you a bit of advice, since I have been there EXACTLY where you are at?? :)

I tried the diet pills and yes I lost it. In fact, I have about 5 video tapes I have watched this week of where I could tell I was on the pills and then off again. The pills do NOT last forever, and your body gets used to them and then you will gain the weight back, plus more GUARANTEED! Take from me who did it for 15 years.

Last year I went to a doctor about my knees and she pretty much scolded me for being so overweight and told me to exercise. I told her that I didn't have the time...I travel with my job frequently and I am a mother of two. But she said to me something that changed my life...if its important to you, just like those other things, you will do it.

So thats what it was. How important was it to me to lose weight?

There are MANY ways you can find to move. Start by walking. Walking is all you really need, and how the majority of how my weight has come off. Park further away at the store and walk to the door. Walk around the mall. Stand instead of sit as much as you can. All that makes a difference.

You can lose weight without exercise, but the benefit of keeping it off and your body to continue to burn when you are not exercising is there. I started doing weight watchers. Excellent program.

If you  need any help or encouragement, let me know. I have been there and know how hard this process is to get started! But once you start and see results, you will be amazed at how much you change your mindset :D

I do eat healthy and exercise. The pills help me to make healthier food choices and help me to feel full faster.  I don't see myself gaining all the weight back plus more if I continue to eat right and exercise.  Doesn't make much sense to me.  Anyone would gain it back without diet and exercise regardless of diet pill use.

But if you are dieting and exercising then you can lose the weight without the pills.
And, if you are eating the right "filling" foods (that are counted as free foods on diet programs), then you won't need the pills to give that feeling.

I am not telling people this because I am a know it all. I am saying it  because I have dealt with this for 15 years. You name the pill, prescribed or not, and I was on it. Now I am dealing with blood issues that were caused by my constant use of putting drugs into  my body that it wasn't designed to take. I don't want to see others make the same mistakes I have made.

This time, I have lost the weight without the pills. Almost 80lbs. It can be done, and without starving.

And for the record, I didn't see myself gaining weight back plus either. No one does. Everyone goes into saying that they will help them and thats what they need for their kick start. You can have the same success without poisoning your body. :)

Have you (or has anyone you know) tried that pill alli? I have heard that it actually works, and I was curious about it. I am actually not looking to start taking a diet pill, but I was just curious if it was legit. I also heard it is the only pill approved by the FDA. Let me know!!

Yes, I have.  And then I had blood work done (which was when I first found out I had a problem at all with my blood) and my liver count was terribly out of whack. I stopped the pills and the count went back to normal.
In the month I took the pills, I lost weight, but I was also dieting and exercising. I got off the pills and I still lost weight just doing what I should be, but without the liver problems.
Yes I have ordered Kioslim, I am going to give it a try for one month, of course, with check up at my Doc.  as soon as there is one side effect, I will trash it. Every one is so against diet pills, at lot have tried them, I am sure that some people have had luck with them, I know I have to change alot of things while taking them for the 28 days, but please wish me luck.  I will keep posted.
Hillbily-let me know how it goes... good luck :)
Yes I need all the luck I can get, but this time I am going to do it,  I am not going to depend completely on Kioslim, just as a supplement to my weight loss plan, I am tired of trying everything under the sun to lose weight, and this is my last try, and it better work, will keep a daily post to let you know how it is going.

Alli does work, if you follow the Alli plan.  I saw an article that showed more Alli users are gaining weight than losing weight.

Why?

They think Alli allows them to eat more.  They had the same problem with phaseolamin (Phase 2 starch blocker).    These products can enhance a program, but they end up giving dieters an excuse to cheat.

I use phaseolamin because I don't want to block the absorbtion of good fats (which Alli does).  This study convinced me to try phaseolamin http://www.medsci.org/v04p0045.htm .  I have lost 40 pounds - but I give more credit to reduced calories and exercise than I do the supplements I take.

I wish you so much luck, hillbillyrock! I really hope that you will be successful while using kioslim. It is good that you are going to take the pills for not more than a month. I am sure that after that time you will be able to lose the rest on your own! Please let me know about your experiences.
Thank you all for being so supportive, it sure helps, it is hard enough to lose weight and then addmit you will take a diet pill, but I know now that lots of people have taken diet pills, I mentioned at work that I was going to start with a diet pill, and BOY was I surprised at how many said they have used them too.
