Weight loss for sports ???

I regularly have to lose 2.5-3kg, to make weight for my sport.

I do all the usual things sauna, run, cut down meals a few weeks before etc.

Anyone got any "hot tips" that vould make this weight loss easier (obviously without the use of drugs and minimising the loss of lean muscle mass)
