Do not pig out on a random day and eat next to nothing the next day!

you probly already know this but don't necessarily eat less just eat healthier! my friend went from a size five to a size one by just using this rule!! she started eating less doritos and more carrots. if she wanted a snack she would grab an apple not a cookie. you eat less to because when you think your craving something like chocolate thats actually your body telling your that it's short on the natural sugars that fruits offer.

Thank you soo much for that tip! It is very helpful, since your post everytime I feel hungry for nutella or a crepe I replace it with an apple and some nice green tea! I can already feel AND see the difference! Who know such a small change could do so much!

not really in response to what I wrote, but back to the tip that I was given about replacing unhealthy foods with fruit and veggies. well in one and a half weeks i have lost 4 lbs! And I am eating as much as i usually do, only the carrots and popcorn i eat here and there fills me up more than the junk food! It is definetily worth trying for al of you dieters ut there. Also i suggest watching portion sizes, because you may not realize it but a lot of the time you are eating three or four times the recommended portion size!

Hey there! I am about 122 pounds and I have a few tips that really help me maintain.

The first is to not eat late!! Falling asleep not long after a meal means that you are sleeping on extra calories that will not be burned. Make sure that your last meal is eaten early enough so that you will be active enough afterward to use up those calories.

Next is avoid juices and sodas and replace those drinks with plenty of ice cold water. Try drinking a glass of water every few hours. Some studies indicate that cold water helps a person burn calories faster. Water helps get rid of toxins and also promotes the toning up of muscles. Water is SO IMPORTANT in aiding weight loss.

Last, the important truth is that calories do determine whether or not you will lose weight. You will lose weight when you burn more calories than you take in. So be active and make your calorie intake a bit less than what you will burn! There are so many low calorie snacks that are really good to choose from.

Good luck!

thanks!! i have a question about your first point, when do you suggest is the best time to eat dinner then? because i have heard some people say that if you eat after like 7 at night, that the calories you intake double.

Well, you can't exactly choose a time to eat and decide it's early .  It really just depends on when you go to sleep .  Doctors usually say that three hours before you go to sleep is usually the best time to eat your dinner .  But others go for 4, so it just depends on the time lapse .

Which brings me to the point of when you should eat .  Eating every three hours is a really good idea because it takes approximately 3 hours for all your food to finish digesting .  And drinking water all the time is actually not good .  Because it actually ruptures your red blood cells if you're person who only hydrates yourself with water . You need some sodium in you ! :)
