weight maintenance buddies

I'm doing ok with the maintaining, so not struggling. 5'2.5", 111.5 lbs. I came from 136 earlier this year. I do find it hard to hold steady, my weight fluctuates more than I expected everyday.
I am struggling with maintenance as of late. I think I have just reverted back to my old ways too bad and I was eating 1500-1600 calories per day and apparently I can't eat that much. I ate 1200 calories per day to lose. I have put on 4lbs and I can't seem to get it back off. But, I would be happy with just losing 2lbs and hold steady at 110lbs. BTW: I am 5'3 35yrs old.
Hi melody_duet, I started maintaing this month and working up my calories by 100/ week/month from 1200 - 1500. I have an exercise routine that has been daily.
kheather72, just a few questions if you don't mind.
I am 5'1", 38 120lbs. No where near you all, makes me feel kind of "fat". * I know I am at the healthy BMI scale (in the middle) and I feel good and am happy here.
*edit: No matter how I try to word it this doesn't sound right. I feel like the "heavy weight" amongst the "light weights". 100's v 120 that's quite a difference is all I mean to say. So please, I ask you not to be upset. If we all feel good and are healthy we're all on the same page. : )

- Did you increase your calories instantly or gradually ?
- Were you doing any exercise while on 1200 cals ?
- When you got up to 1500 - 1600 cals were you still excercising ?
- What did you change when you started maintaining ?
- You said you reverted to old bad ways, but what bad ways ? Foods that were "bad", not drinking water like when you were losing , lack of activity ?

Yes! I'm 5'7", 20, 98lbs. I'm trying to get as high as 105 by new year's while getting in shape, but have been sick.
I'm struggling a lot lately with understanding it all: I've had the flu for a week now, haven't exercised much, a little yoga maybe to stretch, been eating enough, but I've lost 4 lbs. in 5 days...
Any suggestions? Or should I not worry until I get better?
Hi scoobysnacks9. I am sorry to hear that you're not well. Relax. Get better first. See the doctor if you must or can. Then come back and re evaluate your weight. A healthy body and mind performs so much better.

Thanks, I've been to the doctor twice this week, but still not feeling well. And today I've lost another 2 lbs.
I'm just worried about losing too much weight and having to make it all up later. I've lost 6 pounds now. that's a lot when you're trying to gain weight.
Thanks for the advice though! I'll try the rest, wait and see method. :)
