Hi there,
i'm fairly obsessed with my calorie input vs output. The general rule when trying to lose weight is to make sure you are burning more calories than you're consuming.
This can be best achieved with 30 mins exercise per day which can be simply walking, and eating 5-6 light healthy meals through out the day.
hope that helps, and as for scales i'm not sure as i have a fear of them! lol
:)
