Don't give up! Keep with your calorie intake and maybe don't weigh yourself until after your done with your period. I know its hard not to (I weigh myself everyday) but it might be worth the sanity!
I am frustrated too. I followed my eating plan this week and I exercised this week... I am up two pounds as well. I usually start my period on the 10th of the month (give or take a day). So I guess that is what the extra weight is.
Just curious, about how many days BEFORE your period do you notice the weight gain (from water retention)? And about when do you normally lose it....back to where you were? A few days into your period, after it's completely over? I know that we are all different but thought I'd ask. Thanks.

Michelle, I stepped on the scales today and found that I was 2 pounds heavier than two weeks ago...and i know I've been following my calories as normal! The only thing I can put it down to is the fact that I am due on my period in 6 days.....I think my bloating starts a whole week before, and is usually gone by day 4 of the period.
