I'm really wondering how there are people on here that are my height, but weigh about twenty lbs more and are wearing the same jean size.

Sizing is relative to brand (also juniors vs misses vs women's). Also, I suppose body shape plays a role, as does body fat %. The more toned/muscular you are, the more you can weigh while taking up less space (in other words, more lbs, fewer inches). However, at your age/height/weight, I had a 24" waist (I was age 14-16). I think that's a size 0 now, but it was, like, a size 2 or a 4 back then. Size inflation, man.

5'6"
142 lbs
Size 6 US, Size 10 Australian/UK (Sometimes in pants an 8 US/ 12 Australian)
"Small" in most shirts, "Medium" if the shirt is very fitted around the boobs. It varies depending on the store though: I am always S in Tommy Hilfiger, always an M in Ralph Lauren.

I wonder how other girls my height and weight are wearing US 8-10? It could be that I carry a lot of my weight in my boobs  (Australian 10E, which the internet tells me is 32E), and I'm pretty muscular from all the martial arts.

At first I thought I was crazy but then I saw a couple of other people with my stats too!

Female, 31 years old

small frame

5'2"

112 pounds (although I may be 111 if this pound loss holds lol)

size 1/2 pants

size small shirt

I am finally at a place where I like wearing tight tops, never thought I would see that day again!  lol

Female, 23 years old

small frame

5'8

141 pounds (fluctuate 141-143)

size 9 pants

med-lg shirt (depending on fit)

Female, 31, 5'nothing

Frame: small upper body, med/large lower body (even my skeleton is a pear)

Measurements: 35-24.5-37

Current weight - 117pounds

Tops - usually a small, sometimes XS if there's room for boobs (I'm a 28G or 30F give or take, depending on the brand)

Pants/skirts - usually a 5/27

Dresses - rarely fit me.

Female

small/med frame

5'8"

137 lbs.

top- small or medium usually

pants- right now size 9 (sometimes 7) but all my old jeans are size 11 so I just wear them with a belt!  I'm not gonna lie it kind of sucks that they don't fit even though I'm glad I'm not that size anymore...mixed emotions, I guess!  Also, it's funny to see people on here who are my weight/height but with much smaller pants sizes!  I have a small torso and big butt/legs so there you go!
