Is there anywhere online that has the book in a printable version? I cannot afford it, but want to start the program and can't find the food points anywhere.(or does anyone have the point list they could send to me?)
Thanks!
I do not have the info anymore... I pitched it when I found this website.
I find counting calories has been way more effective in losing weight, than the points system
I am a life time member of weight watchers, however, the program was starving me. for real.
I wasn't consuming enough to survive and eating my points everyday..I was in starvation mode.
Sorry.
Hi
Try Ebay, that is where I bought mine.
You can also try amazon.com If you aren't able to find any you can always just stop in to a meeting and I think they are only $10 each. I used to do weight watchers and was always able to find points online (non printable though). Do some research or for starters look up the things you eat the most of.
The basic formula for figuring out the points in a food with known calories, fat grams and fiber grams:
calories divided by 50 plus #fat grams - (the smaller of these two (#fiber grams or 4)) = points
WW only calculates for up to 4g of fiber, regardless of how many are in the food.
Italian Sausage: 160/50 + 12 - 0 (no fiber, 0 is smaller than 4) = 4.2 pt
Fiber One bar: 150/50 + 4.5 - 4 (9g fiber, 4 is smaller than 9) = 2.5 pt
I found this site http://www.webmilhouse.com/pointcalc.php if you look at the nutritional labels on the foods u eat and input them into this calculator it will give u the points value. I also have the new book borrowed it from a friend so if you want to know any info let me know.

So you can log your weight -- which allows you to do the following:
- Plot your weight curve
- Analyze the trend of your weight (see under Recent in the figure above)
- Determine the projected target date (see under Overall in the figure above)
