I am usually in bed by now, but since I was up, I thought I would cheat and look at the new challenge for the week.  Nice!!

Normally, this would be an easy challenge for me, however, this week in particular is a busy one, in terms of parties, celebrations, etc., and it's really easy to go overboard on the cholesterol and UNDER on the fiber. 

Let's rock team #1  (and of course all the other teams........:)

Is it OK to exceed the recommended fiber and still earn points?  I'm assuming the range is the minimum? 


Yes.  You can exceed the Fiber recommended amount but can not exceed over 300mg of Cholesterol.

Just posting my bonus round calorie goal. I am going to make it 1700 for everyday this week.
morning everyone, thank God it's a new week -- means i'm past the most of the parties for this summer :) i still have my family from Sydney visiting, that is of course realy nice, but, hm, lot's of restaurant food... that's hard to log acurately... but also lot's of walking around the city shoiwng them stuff.

It is similar to the first week's challenge, but then we did Net Calorie Intake.

I just realized one of the brilliant things about this whole challenge...besides all the education you're giving us, undertherainbow... People are always saying to change things a little at a time, instead of going for all at once for things like not having a good habit of exercizing, or for having trouble just 'starting' to diet. ...well, by picking parts of our nutritional intake to focus on each week, I have really been learning how to create a much healthier diet...for example, my cholesterol has been running too high consistantly...I didn't know what it was supposed to be.  So, this morning I had to spend 30 minutes figuring out a new meal plan to get it below 300...it's been running 305 - 335.  Each week I've made adjustments for the challenge, and except for the exercize which I'm horrible at doing, I've been able to keep up with the others after the week's focus is over.

You're doing a great job, Undertherainbow!!!  Thanks for all you do.

Dzoo5, that's AWESOME weight loss!!!! All that exercize must have really done wonders!!!  I sure wish I could give myself more of a push for that!!!
