CHALLENGE 8:  Exercise Mix-Up

Since there are only 3 weeks left of this challenge until the final weigh in or shall I say weight loss total, we are going to do an Exercise Mix Up.

Many people have their favorite types of exercises that they stick with so this challenge is to get everyone to mix up their exercises.

You earn .5 point for each category of the below that you do each day. 

Cardio - includes running, walking, elliptical, treadmill, bicycling, swimming, etc.

Weights - includes weights at the gym, home gyms, dumbbells, etc.

Calisthenics - includes pushups, situps, crunches, pullups, jumping jacks, etc.

Activities - includes lawn care, going to the zoo, swimming at the waterpark, sports, home repair, etc.  (If you get a .5 point for this activity, you can not get an extra .5 point if it falls into another category.  Unless it falls within two categories and then you will only receive a .5 point for the second category.)

NOTE:  You must do at least 15 minutes of the category to get points for it.

Eat THREE healthy meals during the day, including breakfast.  Skipping meals causes increased hunger and may lead to excessive snacking.

(Tip #2 of 20 tips for permanent weight loss from the Mayo Clinic.)

Every day that you eat three meals (Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner) you earn your team 1 Bonus Point.  Snacks are not included.

Sorry for the thread being posted so late guys... I got wrapped up in doing some work from home. 

Also, I will display the results for Week 7 on Thursday this week instead of Wednesday.  I will be out of pocket and attending a funeral.  :(

Sorry to everyone one Team 2... I was at the beach, I ate good, just no as often as I should, and with no nearly the exercise that I would in a normal week. Alot of sitting in a car 10 hour trip ONE WAY... 2 days sitting in a car..... and relaxing, not as active. BUT I AM BACK IN SWING OF THINGS!!! NO FEAR!!!

Sorry... Hubby has broken ribs ( jetski incident this weekend.. I told him he should have went on vacation with us) so I am cut short at the gym, relying on other people to help with kids, hubby cant lift him (2 years old) I am however working out tonight and aquacise....
