Have you noticed any changes in your relationships with people since you've lost weight? Do the people in your life treat you differently now that you've lost weight? If so, please share.

Watch this video about the topic, its very inspiring!

Kudos to BeautifulBrwnBabyDol for being an inspiration.

I'd rather have girls sizing me up for competition than writing me off as a non-threat due to my weight :].  Noticing girls doing that was actually a plus to me.

hear hear! especially when it's a girl i would've been jealous of not too long ago. that's the best. but yeah, people are nicer. random strangers strike up convos with me, guys are chivalrous, and i get hit on a lot more.

I have been really focused on eating better and staying health(ier), so when my friends want to go out and eat crap or drink it, I usually pass. I have noticed that my interests have changed.

Dudes check me out more.  That's about it for me!

Not really, I've always had my close friends and other than that have generally kept to myself... so there's be no real change in my relationships.

I've decided to not pay too much attention this time. I had a lot of compliments the last time I lost weight, and then very rude things said as well. If I like it (my weight),  I don't really care about other folks. I have people telling me that I don't ned to lose anymore, cause I will look unhealthy periodically (inactive, overweight people usually, and I am still technically 5 lbs overweight) Don't plan on taking their advice, so I am pretty much just focused on those that are a part of my journey :)

omg cello, i've started getting the "you don't need to lose any more weight" too! and just like you said, from inactive, overweight "friends." i really do need to lose more weight, like almost 40 pounds more. i am SO not at a healthy weight yet. one chick actually told me i'd look sick at my goal weight! how is a 5'6" chick gonna look sick at 150 pounds, huh? such a hater!!!

as for the original topic, some crazy person told my mom i look 19 years old. i wish! nice compliment, though.

Lol. I keep getting 17. Yeah, my goal is 5'5'' and 140 lbs.
