She weighs 116. Just look at her, the bulky, manly beast. She practically has a penis.

Wow they looked great.  I really enjoy lifting but I do not think I will be able to do what those women did with their tiny non bulky bodies!!!!  At the gym I go to there are some women that are lifting very heavy weight and not one of them is bulky, I hope to be one of them someday...I will be!!

But the second monstrous she-beast had just the cutest little bobbing ponytail! 

And yikes, they put my lifting to shame!  I was whining not long ago about some measly little front squats because they were hurting my iddy biddy widdle wrists.

sadly, there are women out there who really think that anything more than bones & boobs is bulky.  *shakes head*  if that's bulky then my plan to get "buff" must be giving them the vapors.

 it's ridiculous actually. women are supposed to have some sort of shape, instead of clankling (i mean bone clankling, not weights) around the place.

ooo, those 'girls' should be careful, lifting over 40lbs is bad for you.

Some if these girls seriously think that if they even look at what they consider a heavy weight they are going to look like Juliette Bergmann..

Why don't either of them have breasts? Not trying to be offensive, I'm genuinely wondering about this. Does it help that much in lowering your weight to get into those weight classes? If so, isn't that kinda a counterpoint to the suggestion that you can be womanly and super strong?

Mainly I'm just generally against having about 10 different weight lifting qualifications, each of which's medals count the same as team sports like basketball and volleyball etc. at the Olympics. It doesn't seem fair to credit people who play 8+ games/matches the same amount as someone who lifts for 2 hours. Weightlifting should be merged into male and female TEAM sports at the Olympics.

if you put that woman that trhawley posted in one of those unflattering spandex 'outfits' her breast would flatten as well. take it from someone who has them, if you dont have bodacious tata's certain clothing will either flatter or flatten. but i dont think breasts or no breasts was the point of spiro's post. im not saying that you're wrong & they probably have no boobs & very low body fat, but the point was they dont have bulky muscles.

There is a teenage female in Poland who can lift 240lbs.  I can't remember her name, but she does a performing act with her family.  She lifts her dad, her mom, and her baby sister on her back.

She's also quite feminine and pretty.  And she has boobs.

Breasts are mostly fatty-tissue, so if you get down to a really low body-fat percentage they'll shrink, you'll notice the same thing for women in non-weight class sports that have low body-fat (marathoners, etc).

I've been trying to google her and I can't find her.  She was featured on one of those shows like The Human Body or something.
