So this is a thread to all you bingers out there. It's purpose is to kinda motivate us to keep not binging, because we can kinda realize how worthless our binging is espeacially when it's on something we don't enjoy. So here is mine: Croutons and canned whipped cream. It was probably my first binge.

eww.  I hope you didn't have those together!

My guilty pleasure (not too weird) is:  Applebee's Orange Chicken Bowl

It is SOOOOOOOO good.  I allow myself to have it every 10lbs lost :)

No I didn't eat them together :P But yea, it was pretty extreme.

Cheerios

Trix

Ice cream

Chips

Brownies

You name it, sweet or salty, and I've binged it at some point. My one tonight was cheerios. I made myself stop after 2 cups. Can't say I didn't enjoy chewing it.

My only "consistant" food that I binge/overeat with is... rice krispy treats. I just seriously can't control myself around them. I thought at one point I could buy them in little individual serving packs, but I can't.

Anything with lots of carbs and I'm there...

My worst binge, i ate a cream doughnut with mock cream which felt like lard.
Seriously, the "Cream" crumbled and was way to firm and dry to even resemble cream.
It tasted lard-ish too.

... I then slathered it up with butter and down it went.
Along with many sandwiches.

That was on Sunday.
Couldn't stop binging, even when i was in physical pain.
The next day, i felt so full and sick i didn't want to eat.
So... i just made myself eat fruit mainly.
Peanut butter straight out of the jar with a whole packet of Ritz crackers. I have to make sure I only keep one or the other in the house.

That always looks so good on the Applebee's menu. I looked it up on the internet before going to dinner there, once.

Needless to say, I've never tried it.

3 moonpies, shrimp cooked in garlic butter, 2 bagels toasted with vegetable cream cheese, a fruit roll up that i shoved in my mouth whole and then attempted to chew, and a plate of fries smothered in gravy and cheese (it's called poutine but you Americans aren't familiar with it!)

this was just this past weekend, within a 2 hour period.

Oh I love poutine! esp made with gravy thick enough not to fall off your fork and strong cheddar cheese... mmm... thank you for that I haven't had that in years!

One of my fave snacks is hot buttered toast with just a sprinkling of grated cheese on it.

I think my weirdest would be plain Dairy Milk dipped in peanut butter... I was trying to emulate Reece's Peanut Butter Cups before I could buy them here in the UK... (they were my fave when I was growing up in Ontario). Needless to say it didn't work!

mmm I'm thinking I need a snack now lol

I just started binging in December. Mine always consist of mass quantities of cereal. Then, when I realized i've shot another day, it ends in hostess cupcakes and tons of granola. I've fallen into a rut of eating so little all week to make up for the major binges every weekend...sucks.
Cool whip, marshmallow cream, and cream cheese. Lol! I just mixed them all together, then ate it like ice cream. It would have been good if I hadn't eaten so much of it. It just made me feel sick.

I think for me, my weirdest binge was cheerios and salsa. Together.

I used to eat the most disgusting things at my worst. . . condiments right out of the jars, cheez-its dipped in nutella and PB, lots of salty and sweet things together. But I would never "binge" more than a bite or two of something at once, unless I was also going to purge. Then all bets were off. I'd go to the dining hall and have everything on the dessert bar all mixed into one huge bowl with mountains of whipped cream on top, because I had this strange idea that it would purge easier if it was covered in cream. . . I also used to make a box of brownie mix with just water, no oil or eggs or anything, to make a sort of frosting-like paste, and just eat that. With a spoon.

Lately, my binges are mostly just larger quantities of normal food: 2-3 bowls of cereal, 2-3 yogurt or sf pudding cups, a spoonful of PB dipped in cereal (don't laugh, it's like a granola bar on a stick. . . ) Usually, when I binge, I just make myself a normal "meal" or "snack" and eat it, then move on to another, then another, each time telling myself it's "the last one," but I get into a cycle of craving sweet then salty, then drying out my mouth, then needing sweet again, then salty, lather, rinse repeat. ugh. My binges are definitely more healthy now that I live in a house where there literally ISN'T any unhealthy food, but even that's accompanied by that out-of-control binge mentality that I absolutely can't stand.

Let's keep in mind that bingeing is a terrible, awful, disgusting, damaging habit, one that we ALL need to work on breaking. I don't know how helpful or cathartic it is for us all to list our binges here, but if it works for you. It just makes me disgusted with myself, but hey whatever floats your recovery boat.

I do this too!!! Or pretty much any cracker-like item in the house. Usually a whole box of wheat thins and tons of PB. I've been trying to keep the wheat thins out of the house!

Milanesa with fresh squeezed lemon.  I can seriously eat this and then keep going back for more.  It's even better cold.

Actually the fries smothered in cheese and gravy IS found in America- they're called disco fries lol. I don't know why but that's what we call them at the Jersey diners.

OK, I know the Orange Chicken Bowl is bad (from Applebees)... I split it up into 3 meals when I eat it!!  And like I said, it's about once a month or less that I go out to eat and order that.  Generally I order a grilled chicken salad with NO dressing :)

Anyway- weirdest binge today...  I had my egg whites sprinkled with pepper and a slice of whole grain toast with strawberry preserves sitting right next to it... so I stacked my eggs on the toast and ate it all together.  Spicy and sweet... weird but DELICIOUS!

Nutter Butters. I ate a half pack today.... They're 70 cals each so we're probably talking 1,500 calories today just in FREAKING NUTTER BUTTERS. There's always tomorrow

umm... FYI 2 cups of cereal is not a BINGE.. 2 cups of cheerios is only 240 calories.. which is barely a substantial meal... so don't call that a binge.

2 boxes of cereal and then we're talking..

OMG omg omg…   I am a NUT BUTTER ADDICT!

SERIOUSLYYYYYYYYYY.....................

I have eaten a WHOLE TUB OF ALMOND BUTTER in ONE SITTING.

Several times.   Done the same with peanut butter, and other nut butters too.

Ate them straight from the jar.  That was back when I binged.

I have not binge ate in some time now - I am making great progress.

But nut butters just taste TO DARNED GOOD that I ALWAYS over do it at least once a week

But now the worst I do is about 600 cals in a sitting!  And only once a week at most.

And I do not binge -  I just eat too much because I like the taste so much and want more!I wish you could get INDIVIDUAL portions of almond and nut butters - you can get freshly crushed peanut butter,  and chose the quantity you want and only get one serves worth…..

Ahhh cr@p…. I got dad to get a jar of peanut b utter today….   WHY didn’t I go  to the healthy food store to get a single/ portion controlled portion!!?!?!?!

Oh well guys!    We have to learn to live with certain temptations to some extent!  Although it DOES help to have MOST of them out of the house.
