So, I saw a forum post on here ( Check it out: http://caloriecount.about.com/forums/post/111 273.html ) and it got me wondering. Bingers, what is the top 10 weirdest things you've found yourself eating? It can be gross, unique, or down right weird. I think I'll start off, if y'all don't mind

1. Matchsticks
2. Straight mustard
3. Yoghurt and cheese sticks
4. Coffee grounds
5. 1 whole canister of straight cinnamon
6. pasta (from a garbage can, not my finest hour of all time)
7. 1 clam of raw mushrooms
8. oatmeal and chicken together
9. Yoghurt drops (intended for hamsters, but it tastes like regular yoghurt)
10. Raw fish and Splenda

Whoa.  I can't beat you, but here goes: the weirdest things I binged on were probably:

The time I made a salmon steak and dumped canned chili on top.

The time I ate about 30 Garlic Triskets (hearty wheat crackers heavy on the salt) with extra chunky peanut butter.

Half a jar of Molasses.

And raw bacon.  I'm probably lucky I didn't get salmonella.

More likely to get Trichinosis from undercooked pork products.  Salmonella is generally in poultry products.  Either way, yeah, not a great idea.

I'm still trying to think of some of my weird binges... I think I've blocked them from my memory.  ;)

Ack!

1. a new jar of strawberry jam
2. 4 whole cans of cream of corn
3. ketchup
4. kraft dinner with brown sugar
5. peanut butter on an ice cream sugar cone
6. nuts dipped in maple syrup
7. noodles with jelly & peanut butter on top

Ew.

Here's some of mine:

  1. Jello powder - by the spoonful, just dry powder
  2. Coffee mate - by the spoonful, just the dry powder
  3. Maple syrup -  glugged straight out of the bottle like a  shooter.

eeee................talk about being a carb addict?  yuck...........

ahaha that forum post was started by me :)

anyways, my top ten:

  1. dry hot-chocolate mix.
  2. plain maple syrup; just poured into a bowl.
  3. a sandwich made out of bread and maple syrup.
  4. a bowl-full of brown sugar (60%) and dry oats (40%).
  5. RAW potatoes.
  6. dry muffin-mix.
  7. a whole shaker-full of sprinkles.
  8. a whole shaker-full of that grated parmesan cheese.
  9. dry bread crumbs.
  10. a raw pie shell.

i've only actually done the above once or twice, because they tasted pretty dreadful.

Well unfortunately I tend to smoke pot and eat crazy, lol.

Went to make cookies... needless to say the dough didn't stand a chance....

My fav stoner moment of eating (lmao): Two tortillas, cream cheese, turkey deli meat, rasberry preserves, and some white cheese (like brie or swiss). I bake it all and wrap it all up.

Peanut butter, butter, and banana's on a sandwich. YUM

I also love instant coffee in everything... something about the bittnerness does it for me. cereal gets it, coffee gets it, protein shakes get it...  lol

And then there are the protein powder concoctions.... ugh. Tofu, cream cheese, protein powder, peanut butter, applesauce, cocoa powder & fiber one to add crunch on the outside... but seriously they were pretty good.

and then there is the night I ate a whole jar of pb to my face... wow what a passionate night that was! Picture this: stoney me, 1 large silver tablespoon, a jar of extra chunky jif, and a computer.... oh my my what a night that was. YUM! What is that? Maybe 3000 cals? lol...

Happily, I can't recall my stoner binges.

The grossest is probably when i downed three double cheeseburgers, a four piece nugget and large fry at McD... I was grossed out for days.  Didn't stop me from doing it at least one other time.

the usual strange binge is a sleeve of plain saltines.

wow direwolf - that sounds like PICA or whatever a little bit, with the nonedible things like grounds.

a) jelly (ew)

b) maple syrup

c) slimfast powder

d) dry oats

e) cool whip (like 2 containers)

f) dry hot cocoa mix

g) dry vanilla protein powder

weird all of those things are grossly sweet, definitely a pattern

i had dry hot chocolate mix before tooo haha

i stole my brother's easter candy that was in his room which he probly forgot about anyway

i made safe to eat raw cookie dough and ate it

toasted hamburger buns with butter and garlic

hahah my wierdest are:

1) Packs of dry Ramen noodles crushed with the seasoning packet

2) A whole sleeve of chocolate chip cookies with that sprayable chees on them ( gross grosss gross!)

3) An entire bag of marshmallows on a plate in the microwave for one minute then waited till it hardened and then ate it.

4) Nuttella, banana, fluff, strawberries, maple syrup, mixed with half a bag of lucky charms in a large mixing bowl.

5) An entire tray of lemon squares

I used to go to boarding school for 2 years and I was really depressed during those years and coped by eating as you can tell I became a pig hahaha. I went from 5'7 and 110 to 5'9 and 147 in 2 years. I'm surprised I wasnt fatter to be honest since I ate over 4,000 calories a day haha

I think i've blocked most of my super gross binges from my mind.... that doesnt mean they havent happened though...

I never really binged on this, but when I was little I would used to go to the cupboard and have a little coffeemate powdered cream.  Then I would go to the fridge and drink a little italian dressing, and then have a little black vinegar.  Little=about a tablespoon or less.  Kind of gross now that I think about it, but it was good at the time =]

geez...

when I was probably 6 or 7 yrs. old I used to eat squares of butter straight!  You know the ones they serve in restaurants? Then shortly after that at the same setting I would eat lemon wedges-lol grrrroooossssss!  I did this every Sunday after church for years!  ummm what else?  Jam out of the jar..frosting out of the can-nothing more tooo crazy I guess-!!!

nothing too out of left field ..

  • cubes of sugar / sugar rocks
  • can of duncan hines chocolate frosting
  • squid, vermicelli noodles and kimchi
  • crunchy peanut butter straight out of the jar
  • dried seaweed squares and dried apricots
  • a whole tub of vanilla yogort
  • box of bran cereal
  • ryvita rye crackers with honey, bananas and peaches

I binge, but I can't say I've had a strange binge. It's always been straight to the cereal box.

I should start a post talking about how you've commited death to your binges.

One time I threw a box of cheerios out my back door (okay I've done this a few times - second time was captain crunch), I've smashed a bag of tortilla chips in my kitchen floor, I've melted a 1/2 gallon of ice cream in the sink with super hot water saying "die die die!".

Binges suck.

 Dude I love kimchi!
Sorry, just had to get that out of my system. :P

I don't have any weird binges though...just lots and lots of food...

Dude.  That's awesome. Smile

Hmmm... Not all of them are weird, but they're all horrific!!!!

1. Icing Sugar by the spoonfull
2. Dry Hot Chocolate Mix
3. Brownie Mix (I'm seeing a trend here...)
4. Uncooked ramen noodles
5. Cream Cheese by the spoon (oh that was terrible!)
6. Garlic Breadsticks with Orange Juice (horrible aftertaste)
7. Peanut butter mixed with sugar (I was attempting to make it taste more like a peanut butter filling froma  chocolate bar... it didn't but I still ate it)
8. Uncooked oat/flour/sugar/butter topping from an apple crisp... A LOT OF IT
9. Scotch Mints (too many of these make you feel so sick and perma-minty)
10. Mac & Cheese with extra cheese mix (1 box noodles, 3 pkgs of cheese mix... so salty!)

Strangely I realized the other day that I don't seem to binge anymore... I think I may have grown out of it?!? Maybe I just finally got conditioned to stop making myself feel like crap? Either way I'll take it!

Haha stoner binges from college were always peanut butter and cap'n crunch sandwiches.  YUM

I've also been known to binge on nutella.  Just straight nutella.  Or, when I get bored, anything I can find in my cabinet dipped in nutella.
